Sorry Memph there wouldn't be much point me trading on anything that is going to be slower than a gtr. Even fairly highly modified gtst's will struggle to match a stockish gtr in performance and handling. I've had lots of call but no action yet. Everybody has been happy with the car and really suprised its still here. Seems everybody is just browsing atm.

I somebody gives me 12k this week with no reg they can have it with gtr rims.

Just pulled no6 piston out. Cracked ring land. No damage to the head or bore. I now have a engine loom missing cas plug and afm plugs. New price $2300

I drive a gtr because 4wds are designed to go offroad. Makes the day more interesting. I get a little tried of the black stuff sometimes and like to mix it up a little at the track. Are you sure your not a little jelious because you can't do it!

Called him 5 minutes after the add went up and the bonnet and g/box were sold. Seemed like a nice guy. Geess you guys are tight. If something comes up that cheap call them. BTW all coil packs are the same between gtst and gtr.

I have been told the igniter earth lead does nothing and is not needed. Mine does it when cruzing and I must just move the pedal a little. Does get annoying at times. Oh well good luck guys!!!

From my experience and Scotsman who spoke to racepace a while ago. He said ben said some pfc's do it and some don't. It seems to happen when the pfc jumps out of or into closed loop - using the o2 sensor. You can stop it by turning the o2 sensors off I have been told. Didn't read the whole thread though. Am I close??

Boostin r33 what ere you talking about. You are so random. Nobody has been to see the car so how could have somebody not bought it??? Thats it Tomei R32 the market is dead atm at I feel sorry for all the guys asking $18+ for there car as they won't sell unless they are immaculate cars. If this one hasn't sold already for under $13k what chance do they have as this is in the same cond as cars of the higher value. It on carpoint now so it should sell fast. Forums are just talk and lots of it but I like to give it a go. I bet if there was a gtr perfect on here for $10k nobody would call him to see it there would just be 100 posts asking for photos and asking whats wrong with it!

Shouldn't make any difference. Would be just the same as pulling the abs fuse. Abs in R32's in shit and I do all track days with the fuse pulled. To slow refresh rate. As a lot of people will say, Abs in a 32 will cause a crash. The abs just unplugs at the asb unit. You can use a gtst master cyl and lines because that was what was in my car when I got it but I don't know if the pistons are different sizes?

Need this gone now as a bare rolling shell with nothing. Looking for around $1300. Can be repaired but I have since bought another bare shell for race only use.

Dane let me know when your finished. I'm going to be minimising a loom in the next month for a gtr which I believe will involve making most of it from scratch and using old plugs. Might even record the time it takes to give some of you an idea. I thought everybody was full of it when talking about loom weights but they weigh a fair bit as I have a gtr sitting in the backyard now. Don't know about 25kg but maybe just under 20kg by feel.

Yeh 4wd is the super cheaper tool and I will most likely keep it. I'll take a few photos and post them up in a new thread once I get into it. Keep it up.

Interesting read guys. This has been on my mind for a while as Bris could tell you. I just bought a rolling gtr tonight with all suspension/glass and rear diff for $1500 and can't find any damage yet. The guy is going to mess me around on the other parts he promised I know, but thats what happens I guess when I've handed the cash over already. Going to do the same sort of thing down here and stop tracking my street car. The only thing I'm questioning atm is to go 4wd or rwd to save more weight and less stuff to break. There must be just about 40kg in front diff,driveshafts x3 and 4wd pump, transfer case etc. ATM there are no quick rwd skylines in vic atm but a few are well and truely getting there. This will be a budget build aswell in the $15k range and will hopefully match a few of the big $ cars. I want to build this car to do 20minute sessions at full pace so lots of cooling will be looked at. The main thing with the gtr is how much everything weighs. Strip it all out. Yeah!!!!!! Price drop to $700 or make an offer. These drove very nice in the car. Not to high spring rates by the feel.

I'm a helicopter mechanic so cars are just a bit of a hobby so I changed it myself in a mates factory with a hoist. I have the ph no for the guy I bought the engine off so you can call him or MPC to confirm it was a good engine. Let me know if you have any luck selling your car if I still have it by then.

Engine and interior pick up once I empty the car out and put the strut brace back in. Will go on carsales/carpoint tonight. Nothing wrong with this car boostinr33 if you read the above posts I bought it as it had a good body and put a good motor in it and now selling it. Just payed rego and found it has a short shifter and front pipes. Doesn't look to flash with the S15 rims but you can pick up some nice rims if you search the net for cheap.

Took some pics last night but I can't find the disk to get the pics off my phone and the car is in a mate factory for the w/e. Damm!

PHATGTR what do you think gtst's are worth. A whole lot of F all. All the time r32 and 33 gtst mauals turn up on the net for $6k. Get real mate. I bought a 33 gtr a year ago for $9250 uncomplied. 1802NV the second engine is meant to have 90k but it is in a lot better condition than one with that many km's and has a gates timing belt. Shell has 140ish kms but is really tight and would be in better condition and stiffness than many gtr under 80k. Gtr's have really bad body strength so I judge the cars more on the condition and stiffness of the body than km's.
