  5. The 4wd has never really worked one of my r32 gtrs. I know the g/box is good beacuse it worked in my other car. There is no abs fitted to my car though. Will this affect the altezza?

    Deca Wind Up

Bisby it was a terrible day nobody had any fun. You didn't really miss anything at all. NO THAT WASN'T THE CASE. Sorry mate. I know how you feel. I've been in the club for 2 years and this was my first deca. I had a great time and so did Ash. Thanks heaps to all of the volunteers and organisers for the day and for getting sunburnt for us. Much appriciated. This was the second time in the car and after bolting it back together at 12.30 friday night everything went smoothly except for no 4wd. There was a good show of 32's. One day we will rule! Somebody post some pics please Also needed a drunk sat night story.
  7. If people are serious they call and come and see the car. No time wasters thanks. For all the time I have spent putting up pictures and sending them to everybody it is alway the person who calls and looks who ends up buying the parts for sale and not messing around with 50 pm's or posts. No swaps! Here is a link to the car: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/&a...icle_id=3407325

    New Toy

I've got a yz250f. Stuff 2 strokes there fun whilest there going but when there not! I've had mine for a few years now and had no issues apart from fork seals. Yours should go for ages with no probs. How many guys ride or have access to bikes in sau vic. We should go thrash around the bush for a day.
  9. Bought this but didn't need it. Costs new $330 from nissan. May fit gtst $200 obo gets it Please pm with questions If you have had your car forked off the ship or stacked side on you will most likely need this. Why pay the new price?
  10. Must sell in the next couple weeks. No offers refused. $16750obo. This car will be sold to the first person who has cash and gives me a offer. 89' model 89km's Blitz bovs Duel map ecu Tien HA coilovers with whiteline springs. 2.5 inch front pipes 3 inch Trust exhaust HKS pod filters Sports steering wheel Volk Racing CV Pro 17x9 rims with 90% tyres 255 Nismo bonnet extension and rear lip N1 inserts Front lip not cracked Greddy Profec boost controller and gauge not fitted. Requires the aircon to be gassed and needs reg and rwc. Has been complied and previously reg'd I drove this car until the reg ran out. It is clean, nice to drive and straight. Has just sat around for a few months in the front yard because I am lazy. I'm still at home and the parents are starting to get angry. First to see will buy this car for a damm cheap price. This would have to be one of the cheapest non rust ridden cars around with a really straight body. It already saves you around $4500 in mods. Why buy a stock one? Call to inspect No time wasters Please pm with questions as I may not straight away respond. Can't keep in touch with all my posts. Gareth 0417370869

  12. I bought this cage and only sat it in the car. Due to the possibility of selling the car I won't bother putting it in. Comes with all bolts and backing plates. This is a bolt in cage and can easily be removed if required. Asking $600 or make a offer Will frieght at buyers expense. Gareth 0417370869
  13. Yes they will fit no problems. I have been told by many people that r33gtr are the same a r34. Read the above posts. It also confirms it. They are really nice shocks.
  14. QUOTE(williamsf1 @ 26 Oct 2005, 11:54 PM) G'day Gary.... I see the R33GTR race setup, nice work!!! and great laps times! will there be an R32 GTR race package also? and will it be any different without the shocks? i.e. is it the dampers and springs only that are different? The stabilser bar rates are different, the camber and toe settings are, of course, different and the rear sub frame alignment settings are different also. The R32GTR shocks and springs will be quite a while, they haven't even made a prototype yet. cheers PS; PM me if you like, I will let you know what the kit will be otherwise. Have you gone any further with this kit. I was at Sandown saturday and the car was very unstable all around the track. Shocks must be on the way out. Has there been any progress with the race setup shock valving as I am in desperate need of some shocks and srings. (Modified my group buy whiteline springs to fit my teins). I noticed in your track suspension setup replies to other people you recommend a 24mm front swaybar but supplied me a 22mm. Was there any reason for this. I only just realised.
  15. I was going to use these and sold my stock ones but I was told today that I don't need to upgrade them with my planned mods. They have been on my car and work fine. Need some spare cash atm. Asking $500 for the pair and would rather swap with somebody in Melb if possible but I'm open to interstate as long as I can recieve and test yours before sending the my Z32's. They have the flange end ground off to make it easier to mount to pods. Pics will be up tomorrow or call me to arrange inspection. I can show them working on my car. Gareth 0417370869
  16. Sorry mate I was told today that I don't need to upgrade. No longer interested.
  17. Sold the doors. Sold the standard r32 gtst shocks.
  18. Nice pics. No I never had a barrel cooler.
  19. Good to see some others having a go. I have just made my burner from dicksmiths and bought an eraser for $10 from Jaycar on sale. Looking at all the maps I have of 26's(around 10) they nearly all use the same ignition timing as stock down low with some either added or lowered up top in the load/recs. They seem to use all the factory settings with injectors. The fuel tables go the same way as the timing. Mainly adjusted up top. Is there a link to a page that converts the hex inj sizing to cc's. Some bins have 00B4. Might be 550cc? They say the factory ecu runs to rich higher in the revs with to much timing. Is this true? Also do the factory knock sensors run off a voltage or frequency? If some of you have some bin files could you please send them to me so I can have a look. Just messing around with the burner at the moment.
  20. Did you try bleeding the oil pressure line to the diff? I heard this is a problem on some gtrs with the altezza. The transfer case doesn't have enough pressure on it to lock it up tight enought.
  21. What are the cheapest emulator you can get and what program are guys using with it. Does live edit work with a emulator. I have made up my own eprom burner but am having a hard time writing the info onto the eprom. I think it might be the printer cable geting interference. I have only managed to write one eprom successfully. Does anybody know. I have the $100 dicksmith eprom programmer and a $10 jaycar eraser. After speaking to sams workshop it seems easier to take the car there and have it tuned with the emulator. He charges a bit for dyno time but it should be cheaper in the end than buying a pfc and having no knock retard and won't get through the epa. If I get my fpr in time I should be going there this week. I'll let you know how it goes. Also I believe the factory ecu has more load points than a pfc. Is it true that the factory ecu will fuel cut after 3 seconds as I found my car a phillip island going down the main straight or back straight at sandown would cut out in top gear around 6k and I would have to take my foot off the pedal and when I put it down again it kept on accelerating? As for the chips I see it as being no different as buying a jap chipped ecu and using it. It may not be perfect but you don't pay perfect money for the tune either. Some people can't always afford the best and if it work good on them.
