Go to jaycar and buy 6 x 7 0hm 10 watt ceramic resistors and a plastic box for $20 all up. Thats what I'm using

I'v got the autospeed boost controller with the supposed better regulator in my car at the moment and it doesn't hold boost well at all dropping about 2 psi after peaking at 14psi at 6k. It did this with the rb20 and now with the rb26. Just wondering what boost controllers you guys use and how they make boost, drop off after peaking and spike if they do? Any comments would be of assistance.

Missed last wednesdays drift night cause my back wheel came loose and broke a stud on the day. I'll be at the next one on the 11th though! How many spare spots are left for morewell.

I've got 17 x 9.5 nismo gt4's on the back of my 32 and they don't hit the gaurds. Can't remember the offset off the top of my head

Just wondering if I could borrow a std gtr ecu for a blocky. I've got a mines ecu and was just wondering what difference the stock one would make. The car is a bit sluggish at the moment and I don't know what extras the ecu is tuned to run. It came with the engine. If anybody has one could you bring it to the cruise sat night, could I PLEASE borrow it! I need to trouble shoot some things.

I've got a 32gtr engine in my gtst and I was wondering if its worth buying a factory boost controller and hooking it up. How well do they hold boost, do they spike? I know an aftermarket one would probably be better but are they worth the extra money on a stock motor? I am a tight ass!

I think the resistors are 7ohm 10 watt wire wound ceramic resistors (I know the resisance is 7ohms I don't know if they are 10 or 17 watt resistors) from jaycar about $1.50 each and you need 6 of them. I'll find out tomorrow as the $100 pack I got from direct imports a few resistors died yesterday, I believe mainly due to poor construction as they were glued together and the ends covered with some sort of silicon and water may have got into the resistors ( I don't really know why they failed, all I know is they were wired up properly and it was running fine and now it isn't). A little metal box only costs a couple bucks and might be worth a go but the resistors may ge to hot.

I don't know the brand of the resistors but I'll measure the resistance tonight

You could easy change an engine in less then a day your self. Pulled out my engine about a hour and a halfs work, chopped up the sump on the gtr engine and had it sitting in the engine bay in around a full day. Its a piece of piss! Making the new piping for the gtr engine was a bit of a hasle thou. Take up geoff's offer!

I had some made and all it was was six ballast resistors. I'll get the resistances for you tommorow cause I just finished working on my car tonight and can't be bothered going back outside.

I'm after the heatshield that sits on top of the exhaust manifold, I only need one and would prefer melb sellers. Also I need the water line for the turbos that runs next to the rocker covers.

Just wondering what cam timing you guys are running on your rb26's. I've got some sitting at home. Guess I should put them in. Also do any of you know where to get / download the program to read/write r32 gtr and gtst eproms. Jaycar have a reader/writer kit for around $50 but its useless to me if I can't get the program to read the chips.

Try pulling the plugs off each injector one at a time whilest the engines running. Could possibly give you an indication if its an injector. Also could it be the valve clearances? Have you done a compression check on the engine yet? Have you checked the fault codes on the ecu? The 26 I just put in my car ran like a pig and idled rough because I wired up the knock sensors around the wrong way. Good luck man!

Got the 26 in my 32gtst almost finished its driving but need the timing set on a dyno. If you guys are going count me in as I should see what my car can do!
