The injectors need power from some where if you did it on a gtst the wires already have a power supply and the ecu earths the injectors but on a gtr the resistor pack supplys the power to the injectors and the pack requires power. At the moment I'm just taking it from the battery. Guess I'll keep my g/box for the moment but what clutchs are you guys using?

Gotta love jaycar with the amount of load point mapping on the fuel adjuster it has to up there with many cheaper aftermarket ecu's and also the boost controller as well. For $220 for a boost controller, SAFC and hand controller it seems fairly cheap!

Just asking again does anybody know why the tacho isn't working?

Just bolted the engine in using the rb20 mounts and rb26 sump with the diff chopped off the side. Started the motor and it ran for a few seconds and made oil pressure so I can start bolting everything back onto it cooler pipes, afm's, radiator etc Just a few questions thou:- Where is the power taken for the resistor pack as I had one made? I've just been running it off the battery. There isn't any power in the plug where the rest oof the wires go. The tacho ins't working? Also do the factory front exhaust pipes clear the power steering line (at least thats what I think it is) on the gtst the one that sticks up behind the cross member. Tossing up the idea of buying some or making some. Its been so far a bloody easy conversion. Only two days to get where I'm up to and I've taken heaps of photos. A mates agreed to make a web page on the conversion to kill all the myths out there.

Easy conversion I guess its the same as the rb26 I'm putting into my 32gtst. All I had to do was chop the diff of the side of the sump, all the wiring just plugs in the only thing I have left to do is fabricate the ic and exhaust piping and bolt the engine back in tonight.

Engineering my car might be a cheap option once I get the engine in if the fines are $165 plus a rwc. Thanks for pointing it out guys!

What the deal with fines for being canaried? I've never heard of fines!

Will you take $150 (it seems to be the going price) because I'm in sydney at the moment. Have these been tested for leakage and why are you replacing/selling them?

Do you have the airbox, bov's and are you set on not selling the water line to the turbos seperately. Also if you have the fmic piping do you have the return piping for the bov's?

Put redline lightweight in my car r32 gtst. I reckon its all wank about how good it is if anything the g/box is a little crunchier. I'd guess/say on most people just changing the oil made the difference! Couldn't justify the $110 next time.

Is there any difference between r32 and r33 gtr bov's as in their ability to hold boost and not leak? I need some for a conversion I'm doing so if the only differece is how they mount it doesn't matter.

I rang vic roads the other day about putting my rb26 into my r32gts-t and I was told also that if the car(model?) was ever sold with as a factory option it is ok. I'm going to try it on with vic roads saying that the r32 model skyline came out with the rb26 not telling them it was the gtr. Also they said that if I got a workshop to write and sign that the car was released with this engine its ok. Its just the same as putting a 300kw gts engine into a stock pov pack commodore!

Just bought a rb26 to go into my r32gtst and it came with a mines computer. Will this comp be ok for my car or will it s**t me with the lag associated with running less timing. Gav how did your car run and what power figures did you get out of if?

R32 GTR ECU tuned by Donnontech? Does this mean that the computer has been chipped? What sort of power were you making with this computer? Could yoou pm me your best price.

My cbr 954 will eat most cars on the road the only problem is I don't weight enough at 70kg to keep the front wheel down. If any of you get a chance to ride a big bike go for it and see what 0 - 100 in under 3 seconds feels like. Most of your traffic light drags depend on the rider really.

Mine does the same when its cold and its fine when its warm. It feels the same as when I didn't set the tps up properly a while ago. I might try setting it up again and see what happens. At least it not only my car though.

Don't know if this is any help to you but I was asking people at wreckers today about putting a r33 g/box behind my r32 and a couple people said all I need to change is the front tailshaft to the r33 one. I don't know if this info is right as a lot of people talk crap. Can anybody verify this?

Does anybody know if you can just hook a power supply up to the injector to make them open (5 or 12 volts, havn't put the multimeter on it yet), or do you need to run resistors? I have a fuel nozzle tester for aircraft at work but they don't use electronic injectors.I was hoping I could test my own injectors on it. Their r32 gtr injectors.

Has the car been written off on insurance? May be intersted in the rolling shell ( no running gear) if it has the compliance plates on it. Could you pm me a price.

Called phil at directimported the other day and one of his mates makes cheap resistor packs so he's sending me one down COD when its finished. Seems like a top bloke. He's using one on his 450hp r32gtst so it should be good enough for my car.

Alredy tried upimports and ekw. Wrong no. listed for T&H wreckers. Japanese special vechiles have the parts I need. Just need to midify the gtr sump now because I made the gts-t sump fit and now I've read that all I have to do is chop the diff off the side of the gtr sum and it will fit. Need to use it because it scavanges better and it braces the g/box better. Thanks alot for your help guys!

Trying to get all the parts together to do a rb26 convesion into my 32gtst. All I need now is a resistor pack, front pipes, airbox and the part of the loom on the right side for the knock sensors and acc valve etc. If any of you know somebody who has these parts or a wrecker where you've seen them could you please help me because I've tried almost every wrecker in melb and some in nsw and nobody has parts for or is wrecking r32/33 gtr's or rb26's or their crashed in that part. I've also posted in the wanted section as well. Any help would be much appriciated!

I've got an original gtr bar on my 32gtst and it fits nicely all I had to do was cut two slits in the bumper support and fold back the metal where the number plate notch is to stop the bar from sticking out. This is the only mod required. Trust me it has to be done.

I'm after a pair of front pipes, airbox and a resistor pack for the injectors. Also I need the peice of loom that goes to the knock sensors and aac valve. Please list or pm prices. Will swap gtr afm to filter (no filters) pipes for standard air box.
