  1. Alot of procrastinating took place before I replaced the HKS 2530's. I was already making 371rwkw with them, which most would say is plenty. I got told by many experts that a big single is too laggy. I was tossing up between the T04Z or a custom Garret, but in the end I went with the T88. I can safely say that is the best decision I have ever made in regards to a modification on a car, and I've had plenty. I have to thank Carl at Racingline for finally telling me to go with the biggest turbo I could get, that the difference in lag would be negligible between the old twins and the 88. How right he was. But the hit, oh the hit, when it comes on boost is a moment you wont forget. If anybody is in the same position I was, I recommend you go the T88H-38GK. You putt around town doing under 5000rpm, drives like a taxi, so streetable my wife drives this car on a regular basis, she wont get in if I'm driving. She is stunned that I am willing to sell it, I really have no choice, because I told her I would never sell it because I would never again own a car this fast.
  2. Can always replace a car, just dont think I will ever go into such a big project as I have with the GTR again. Twelve months ago I spent $20,000 on a rebuild of the motor, turbo upgrade, clutch and fuel system.

  4. Nigel ( Racingline) pulled the motor down recently and I had to replace one piston and one ring, I was prepared to do a full rebuild but Nigel said I would be wasting my time and money. Most parts have done much much less kms, turbo only 30,000, exhaust maybe 20,000, suspension arms 10,000 etc.
  5. Company car, most of the K's are from Frankston to Hoppers crossing, 90% of K's are Monash Freeway. Car has never been into the city, its a little too loud lol Thats 36,000kms per year for an all day,every day driver, I was a rep.

I purchased the car new in 2001 and have spent 6 years modifying it to the tune of close to $40,000. I also have an R33 GTR that makes 450rwkw on Racinglines dyno, so I drive that every chance I get. I am looking for an outright sale or a trade with cash my way. Having a second car is handy because of the time the GTR spends off the road getting modified. I am also starting 2 new businesses so the cash will help get started. All work on my S15 has been done by Ice performance/Racingline. Last dyno run netted 250rwkw. I dont know about smart, it was just oppurtunistic, I overheard 2 staff members talking while I was ordering GTRHKS plates, they informed me these mixplates were coming out in a few days, so I made a list of the ones I wanted and got most. What pissed me off is they wouldnt let me have RAC1NG, P1MP or DR1FT, pretty sure they released them later though. Assholes.
  10. No its not a business. I have 2 other businesses. When these plates were first released I got tipped off by Vic Roads staff and I was on the internet buying them before it was even advertised. I simply bought some as an investment and some that I wanted.
  11. You get them from Vic roads for $495. Most of the good ones are gone. I also have ELV1S....you dont want to know how much I want for them lol Also have V1PER, EVO1X, F1OO, F15O, S1LV1A, LS1HSV and a few others

  14. You want to buy them and you dont know what it means???? Why would anyone do that??? I'll humour you. These style of plates are not available as slimline. RH9 is a club formed in Japan by workshops. Entry was via building a 9 second GTR to run on street tyres. Not sure we have a 9 second GTR in Victoria.......yet. Negotiable?? I havent even told you the price. I want $2000 for those plates as you cant use any other combination to get them. Cheers Markos

  20. I get around 300-350km per tank,my S15 gets 500km and its got 240rwkw.I still drive the GTR before the S15. Because of the size of the turbo,it drives like a stock 2.6l 6 cylinder UNDER 5500rpm,which is where it spends most of the day.This car is far easier for my wife to drive than my S15.
  21. Not sure if this will be any help to you,but I own an R33 GTR that I do 1000km a week in,its my company car,run the kids to school,then to sport,I use it for everything. Oh,and it also has a Greddy T88H-38GK turbo and a triple plate clutch,1000cc inj ,makes over 420rwkw,waiting for a HKS DLI unit for a final tune. My point is,ANYTHING can be your daily driver. Buy the GTR.
