  1. I own a Garage Door company in Hallam 97032088,give us a ring on Wednesday if you still need it installed.Mention to the guy on the phone you got the number from Markos on the SAU site.
  2. I've just bought a complete Trust T88-38GK kit for my R33,stock crank,Tomei rods,Arias pistons,Jun oil pump,Tomei head gasket,Ross balancer etc. Should be going in a week or 2,will post up results in RB26DETT section. Previously made 370rwkw with HKS 2530's on 100% standard internals from the head down. I will only rev the motor to 9200rpm,hoping crank will be OK.
  3. Okay,Greenline was the cheapest from Japan at $6300 plus whatever taxes are applicable,at 10% its another $600 +,Croydon Racing was $6200 as was RMS.I got it for $6000,pick it up Monday, not sure if the shop wants me to post it up.I will check with him on Monday and if he's cool I will. No 4 week wait,no Customs wanting $xxxx, warranty issues handled in my own backyard,no wrong product sent. I have spent untold thousands modifying my 2 Nissans,I'm pretty thorough at getting the right price without ever haggling, which is a pet hate of mine, and I've yet to have to order from overseas for a better price. I absolutely hate waiting for anything. Cheers
  4. I just bought a complete Trust T88-38GK kit here in Victoria cheaper than Nengun,Greenline or Perfect run can supply.I dont know why everyone thinks its cheaper to buy direct from them. In fact,I got 3 prices from 3 different shops,2 of which had the kit in stock, and they were all cheaper than the above mentioned option. Look in OZ before you go overseas, cheaper and quicker.
  5. Does this fit an R33 GTR ??????
  6. Stock crank, rods, pistons, oil pump and head gasket,98 octane,22 psi, rwkw.HKS step 1 cams. Currently being rebuilt with Tomei rods,Arias pistons,Jun oil pump,Tomei head gasket. Deciding on turbo upgrade, leaning towards T88-38GK.One extreme to the other.
  7. Buster and 2rismo have obviously chosen to go the drag racing route with their Skylines, and I think that is fantastic,if not the cheapest way to run a 10.Cruiseliner is building a different beast,he will struggle to run a 10 in a 1700kg wagon. Is anyone right or wrong? No. Much respect for a 10 second time, much respect for a unique beast. Please relax so we can follow this interesting build to its conclusion.Everyone has said things they probably regret, lets start fresh from now, please.
  8. Good luck to both you and Gerald,I will drop round this week.
  9. Last year I got to go round as a passenger in a Porsche cup car at Philip Island. He was doing 1.45's,250kmh down the straight.I told him the speed and acceleration didnt overly impress me as I drove down in a 600hp GTR,but the braking was out of this world, nothing I had ever experienced before. It was his first time at the Island, and we did 6 laps, but the braking,oh the braking. He said his Porsche was making about 400hp,was around 1200kg I think, but the braking.
  10. The 2 in the pic,now sold(I think)
  11. ^^^^^^LMFAO
  12. I got 2 brand new Z32 AFM's for $600 in Melbourne. The only reason I didnt go D Jetro was I was paranoid about drilling my plenum whilst still bolted in place.Do you guys remove the intake or just drill into it????
  13. Just read all 20 pages. Most of you guys are nuts. Good luck Snowy.
  14. I have an S15 with a T518Z 8cm turbo, making 250rwkw.I have a Power FC and a GFB adjustable BOV.The only reason I changed BOV was the stock one was leaking,it seems they cant handle 1.5bar.I have no stalling or stuttering issues. This might help, start saving for a gearbox,as the stock boxes dont like 250rwkw with twin plates. You might just get away with a single,my Exedy hyper single lasted one run at Calder.I refused to go 5spd so it cost me $4800 for a PAR gearset. Please dont think I am hard on my cars as my original clutch lasted 155,000kms,gearbox lasted 180,000kms and my dead stock bottom end now has 191,000kms.I wish my RB26 was this durable.
  15. Hey Ash,I imagine one of the reasons you get low numbers to dyno days is that only members are invited. What is the ratio of members to subscribers? I also agree that running your car on a dyno every 5-10,000kms is a good thing, just to moniter everything is running right. Cheers
  16. Calipers only , no rotors, no springs & clips .
  17. Definitely had 3 goes at the track,as well as the AutoSalon thing.Ran the 10.91 first time, clutch dramas second time, big MPH 3rd time, but no quicker.I'd love to see slicks and gas and a 9.Definitely has the power.
  18. I am selling my R34 GTR Brembos.I was going to fit them to my S15 but I now will upgrade my R33 and use my R33 brakes on the S15. I am asking $1500.I am in Melbourne.
  19. I just had a look at HPI magazine. No 8 or 9 second Supras here in OZ on radials. But I did notice there were some GTR's running in the 8's and 9's on radials. The Ice Performance Supra ran it's best time of 10.91 with 390rwkw.Increasing the power to 500rwkw+ has not resulted in faster times, just a higher MPH.That was what Sydneykid was refering to.Not many GTR's dont get faster with an extra 100kw
  20. I pick my kids up every day from school in my GTR,it's way roomier than my S15,although I have picked up all 5 kids in the S15
  21. It's not the car thats the problem,it's the missus lol Mine loves driving my 600hp GTR,its the 400hp S15 she has a problem with lol
  22. Here's the dyno sheet with the 2530's.This was done with stock pistons, rods, crank and headgasket.
  23. Thank you very much for that Nathan, much appreciated.
