When I got my 3" catback exhaust installed the mechanic told me to reset the ecu and rev the car higher the next day. That seemed to do the trick.

I'm having the same problem but it occurs nearly every time I stop. The car has stalled a few times because the revs dropped so low but usually they drop down to about 300-500 rpm. I'm taking it in for a service at Chasers so they should be able to fix it.

Apparently carbon fibre shatters on impact so in the event of an accident pieces of CF would be flying everywhere. In regards to xenons they are only legal if they are white.

I've got an Xforce catback and it's too loud. I've been EPAed and it turned out to be 99 db. The power gain was great but your probably better off getting a fujitsubo if your going to spend $1000. By the way it has a N1 drift style muffler which looks pretty damn good.

In what areas have these egg attacks occured? I can't believe how demented people are in this day and age to have no respect for other peoples property. We drive a Japanese car.....WHATS THE BIG F*(kiNg DEAL?! Its just plain sad for people to have such a hatred for what....a car? Anyway, I can just imagine the damage on a black Skyline....makes me cringe.

Big boy did you get defected with an oil based pod filter?

FD in my opinion. Personally I would get one in Yellow like Keisuke's from Initial D. I drove behind a red RX-7 at a car cruise on some twisty roads and it seemed to handle like a dream from my point of view. FD's are pretty rare on the streets as well.

Yeah the music sucks balls. First thing I did was switch to my custom soundtrack. I'm having a great deal of fun with the whole customisation options. They even have a Top Secret body kit for the R34 GTR! Anyway GT4 seems more realistic but Forza is heaps more fun.

I know how you feel. These people are retarded sons of bitches who were probably denied toy cars as children. One night some idiot had the nerve to break into my Dad's van outside our house. My brother heard the noises outside and turned a light on which in effect scared him away. You have every right to rant about this. People like us work hard and earn money to buy our cars and some uneducated goon attempts to take them away from us. Thieves always get caught in the end.

I thought the Gallardo was a RWD too but upon further investigation it appears that it like the Murcielago is AWD. It has a V10 compared to the Murc's V12 which I didnt know either.

What could you compare a Ferrari to if not a Porsche or Lambo? Those 3 have always been in competition with one another.

Who could say no to those R34 tail lights? Ford's and Holden's do nothing for me in terms of looks. In most cases I can't distinguish Fords from one another. XR6, XR6T, XR8 all look the same but for the badging. Go the Skyline!

Has anyone watched some of those Best Motoring videos? In every race where there is a Ferrari it has come last. It was beaten by R34 GTR's, 911 Turbos, Murcielago's and even a M3. It wasnt the driver either. One time it was Gansan and even he said that Ferrari's tend to perform poorly on the track due to the lack of 4WD. I'd still get one though.

Blitz Dual Drive bovs have a nice sound and you get a little sus filter addon for them. I'm curious about the greddy type S bov. Can anyone describe what sound it makes if any?

I was under the impression that Greddy Type S plumb back bovs make no sound because they do not vent into the atmosphere. A guy at autobarn told me that you gain some sound if you have a pod filter as well.

I went down to Chaser's Tuning this morning and they can install a muffler in the middle of the 3" pipe somewhere. No wonder it was so loud, it was just a straight pipe.

Hey, Well I got a nice letter from the EPA the other day about my exhaust being too loud. When going for the test is it ok to have ANY exhaust system as long as it is under 90db? Are there any restrictions to what exhaust system you can have excluding the amount of db it produces? Thanks

Have you thought about insurance? Last time I checked full comp is about $3500.

There's a shop in the city on Russel St called INITIAL D. It's crazy....actually called Initial D. Anyway they have all these DVD's from Japan there including the whole series of Initial D. I bought the whole series: stage 1, stage 2, movie, battle stage, extra stage and half of the project D episodes from an anime shop on Victoria street. As for the arcade game, they had it at the bowling joint in Victoria Gardens Richmond. The machine was broken but a friend and I switched it on. To our suprise it was spitting out free cards and games so we abused it and got far enough in the game for the manager to kick us out. The next day the machine was gone... :looney:

Very nice example. Its good to buy a stock Skyline so you can pretty much make it into whatever you wish unlike an already modified and probably thrashed example.
