If its a GTR, where the hell is the rear badge? In addition, why the hell would someone put in GTR seat covers which are like $50 from Autobarn.
-
There's a few of those fake GTR's around Melbourne too. The worst I've seen was a stock series 1 with a GTR badge. My stupid friend said wow! GTR!!! (He was actually serious) It was even in that blue R33 gtst colour which I dont think they made a GTR in. Aren't stickers considered rice only if you DONT have the parts? Anyway, a more printer friendly 'NOT A GTR' pic. The funny thing is that if someone gets this they'll be freaked out by the fact that someone took the time to make and print out the page because they hate their mis-badging.

Some place with twisty roads would be nice.

Now my question is whether the pop is good or bad.... Is it just the car efficiently getting rid of unburnt fuel upon gear change or some kind of problem with the whole ECU set up.
-
I cheated but I promise not to do it again!

Check out a place called Technic Tuning. Sorry, I dont have their details or anything. They specialize in turbo's especially Skylines. They should be able to do the piping for the front mount because they made the 3" pipe for my catback exhaust. -
I doubt there would be a flame but I'm speculating that there's a little flash. An example would be turning on/off a light really quickly in a dark room. It cant just be a *POP* sound can it?
-
oh ok. The pop usually happens when accelerating quickly and shifting up. I think its when the exhaust tries to get rid of burnt fuel quickly so it wouldnt suprise me if there was a little flash.
-
Were you talking about the flash or the pop? I never changed my catalytic converter. Its stock.
-
Does anyone know if when you get a pop from a catback or turbo back exhuast whether or not you get a little flash while driving at night? I did a search and couldnt find anything.

Chromes on an RX-7? Or should I say chromes in general? :spew: -
The droning in the cabin will be extremely annoying after an X-Force is installed. After a few weeks you'll get used to the droning and will eventually reach a stage where you really wont be bothered by the sound.

Some guy asked me "whats the buddy club, is it like a car club or something?" I just said its the brand of wheels and he drove off. Not really a stupid question because I never knew what the hell Buddy Club was untill I saw an Evo 6 in an issue of Speed with a set of white P1's. -
Melbourne? Whats with the EPA and the Police - discuss here

It's true, we do need to take action. Someone needs to take the initiative to lead us because we're not really doing much now. I'd like to do something but I'm kind of busy most of the time. BTW, today I was waiting at the lights at the end of a line of cars and some hero in a Ford XR8 ute decided to drive about 30 meters up on the wrong side of the road just to turn right. By the time his ute made it to the intersection the arrow turned red. Yep, its the import drivers aint it? -

Get rid of all imports? WTF? This isnt ****ing Nazi Germany dammit! Those bastards wont rest untill each and every one of us is driving a piece of shit overpriced V8 Holden or Ford. I bet you wouldnt get a canary if you were driving a bloody Falcon Turbo with BOV, Pod Filter and 3 inch catback....There's real crime out there you know. -

I wonder if you drive the speed limit whether or not the cops will pull you over and give you a major defect....that would be realistic -

Many of you guys have mentioned how all import car drivers should take a stand. Has anyone considered doing something on the Tsunami fundraising cruise. I hear that it will be televised. Not only can we contribute to helping the Tsunami victims but we can also show that we are not criminals and do not deserve to be hunted like rabbits. In addition, we all think that the cops are the bastards here. In some cases from what I've read above, they are. The problem is that regardless of the fact that we may be responsible drivers there are quite a lot of import owners (namely from poorer suburbs) that dont really think before they act. In effect its those people that give us a bad name. That is what the Police fail to understand and choose to simply generalise. THERE IS SUCH THING AS A RESPONSIBLE IMPORT DRIVER!!! WHY CAN'T YOU COPS UNDERSTAND THIS?! If many of those irresponsible import drivers left racing for the track MAYBE the police wouldnt treat the rest of us like absolute crap. -
Not enough fatalities on the road? Don't kid yourself Fangio

Its always the dickheads in their Holdens trying to prove something. Nothing looks lamer than a Holden speeding past you when driving the speed limit. I usually say "uh....ok..your car can break the speed limit". I found that its always the non high performance cars that tend to speed around me. -
$650,000 ey? So thats where all our speeding fines go to...

Great pics! I never knew Japan looked so great. I'm planning a trip to Japan for the end of this year. After seeing that rock melon I went and got one for myself. $2.99 a kilo. -

My Dad is looking for an R34 GT-T but the only ones we've found at carsales are all in Queensland. Many of which are automatic four doors all in silver. We came across a white R34 in Melbourne that was pretty modified with a for sale sticker. That one seems like a good option but we would prefer a stock R34.
