A friend of mine informed me that as of 2005 aftermarket pod filters and blow off valves on cars in Victoria are now legal. It seems to check out rather well because another friend of mine was pulled over by the cops recently. He was driving his turbo lancer and was pulled over at about 3am. The cops gave him a canary because his tyres werent roadworthy, ride height too low and his exhaust was too loud. At no point did the cops ask him to open the bonnet let alone question him about any engine modifications. BOV's are becoming way to common for the Police to actually control anymore.

After installing a Blitz Suspower LM pod filter into my brother's car, we got a nice loud suction sound with a pshhh once we eased off. The pod worked really well with the exhaust and Blitz BOV in terms of overall sound. Anyway, the BOV your looking for could be the Turbosmart V-Port.

I was in my brother's Skyline while he was parking in the city. A guy in a Holden ute was yelling at us because he couldnt get passed until we finished parallel parking. In frustration he yelled "learn how to drive yeh ******* asians'. His expression changed when he drove past us only to see two white faces and a powerful 'stare down'. What a racist ****. After parking. Some kid. 'oh..its ONLY a gtst. Those suck compared to a GTR'. Me. "where did you learn that? Gran Turismo?" Little bastard didn't know what to say. Comments vary depending on the area you live in with the most obscene occuring usually in outer suburbs. Nothing pisses me off more than racists and assholes who cant tollerate another persons preference in cars.
