ok. i did mine it works!!! although still coughs at about 5000, and doesnt have the same power like it used to when the boost kicks in, but much better than before, it was impossible to drive, now im thinkin it could be the plugs since i didnt put them in and i dunno what gap is it set at

lets hope this works, its gonna save me lots of $$$, in that case i'll shout u's all drinks, coronas all round great post, thanks

man i have no idea, mechanic put them in, i spose he knew what he was doing, but since i got everything apart now i should check the gap, where can i buy that lil gauge or whatever it is???

thanks heaps for that i hope it helps since i pulled it all off, what i should have done in the first place and replaced the plugs myself.

yea i booted it, and seemed alrite although not as good as before, now i read that thread about siliconing the coils, so i took them out, firs 1 was fine but the rest had visible cracks and bluish color around them, so i spose that was the proble, i went to bunnings and got silicon, 2moro i'll put it all together and c how it goes, if it helps, i wanna say thanks to all of you for sharing this ideas and solutions with the rest, doing a great job guys.

Hi people, i got a r33 gts, and havin some dramas with it lately, when i give it a bit more gas, the engine stars kinda cutting off, and when i step on it all the way it doesnt have the power like it used to, and it only does this once the engine is hot, while its cold seems to be running fine, i just got the service done on it, and got new platinums, so its not the spark plugs, if anyone knows what could the problem be, please give me some insight, if the coils could be the problem i would appreciate it P.S theres also a really funny smell coming out of it when the car's hot, dunno if that has anything to do with it,

Hi guys, i have a problem with my r33, about a year ago, when i punch it on high boost engine would start cutting off, like breaking down for tiny second would back off, but now it does it all the time even with a low gas it cuts the power off, does any1 have any idea what could it be? im suspectin the plugs and car also hasnt had a proper service in 2-3 years Thank You

4 bout few months now i had a really funky smell comin outta it, so that was probably the clutch. i will take it easy, thanks guys, much appreciated

yea. its standard, its been slippin 4 the past few months in the 1st gear, so i guess thats the problem, do u know the prices of heavy duty, or just stock clutch kit? that would help me heaps, Thank you

but it does it after i change gears, if i step on it the engine revs high but no power comin through, could it b a clutch in this case?

the other nite i put allot of pressure on my car, and it stalled a few times while turbo was still really hot, now when my car hits the boost the engine revs fast but the car hardly moves, i turned the boost all the way down but i still get this problem, everything sounds ok, but no power, ??? can some1 tell me at least what this could b? thanks guys

r33 94 2day i had HICAS warning lamp come on and my steering is really hard 2 turn, does any1 know what is going on and how 2 fix it, please let me know

hi guys, i'm planin to put a bigger turbo on my r33 but i'm not sure which 1 to choose and still not have any problems with the motor, i got 3" stainless steel exhaust and big intercooler, so if some1 tell me which turbo would be perfect i would ippreciate it...thanks guys
