the block is stock!

hey will the r32 gtr roll cages fit into a GTS-t?? any pics of these cages?
-
i was also wondering how much boost the stock bov can handle before it leaks, as i want to run 18 - 19psi on my rb20, and i was thinkin the stock one would open up at that sort of pressure so i was thinkin about getting a greddy type s bov, but only if it was needed, all your help is appreciated.

my r32 currently has these mods. High Flowed 450hp Standard Turbo HKS Intercooler Bosch 040 Blitz SUS Pod with sheild Apexi N1 3.5inch system with custom 3.5inch dump+front pipe Greddy Catch Can 14psi AND HAS THE STANDARD ECU!! i got it put on the dyno and it did not miss a beat...the guy said the air/fuel mix was safe to drive it around with the occasional thrash..but he said with sumthing like a power fc he could probablly get around another 40 -50hp out of it just the way it is now. regards luke

the nismo one is just as good its prob better as you dont need any extra fittings and doesnt not need to be mounted off the fuel rail like the sard reg. I bought a sard regulator and the fittings, they are a well known brand for fuel systems, and you should never take the cheaper way out with your fuel system. If your fuel system dies your engine is gone!

Sard is the way to go mate, except you will need a few extra fitting for the fuel rail as such.

clutch problems (56k die)
Waldo replied to zinkrb250's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Just take the flywheel of and go get it machined ($50) and get a new throwout bearing and clean everything properly..leaving no grime anywhere inside the bellhousing nor on the clutch..grease the spigot shaft with proper grease...dont put grease on the throwout bearing cos it can flick of at high speeds and go onto the clutch plate and then the clutch plate will slip hardcore...put it all back together...test out the slave cylinder to see if its working properly as well.. regards luke -
hey guys just wondering if the standard rb20 actuator will hold 19psi
-
ok so your saying that when i get the resitor pack off a gtr, i have to supply it with 12v to the black wire or as in roy's pictures it looks red. The untape the injector harness and the positive wire that goes to each injector i have to cut the wire and run a new one back to the gtr resitor ballast...(am i correct). Where do the standard positive wires come from then that im cutting and re routing to the new gtr balast?? sry for being a pain just thinkin it might be easier just to go with rx7 s5 injectors and just changin the plugs over
-
ok so what your saying is that even when you buy the rb26dett resitor pack you still need to modify the injector harness...or is this tutorial if you put in your own resistor pack??? im so confused how to do the swap
-
hey i was just wondering with putting gtr injectors in my rb20, do i just get a resitor ballast from the gtr, (the little silver box), and is it just a straight plug over swap? or do i need something else to make the injectors work?? regards luke
-
lol nah mate i put on my 200sx stockies on the back but leave the front set of 19's on

How to intall fuel pressure regulator ?
Waldo replied to yoga-serega's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
buy a sard adapter for $35 from horsepower in a box...it bolts right onto the standard RB fuel rail -
ok fellas just raised the car 10mm, she doesnt scrap anymore no need for me to rip out the inner gaurds...but since i drift the beast a fair bit im gonna get the sway bars anyways...thanks heaps for your input regards luke
-
its pretty low..my front gtr bar is sitting 72mm off the ground. the wheels dont show any camber i have only dropped it 1.5 inches i have GAB coilovers and just wound them down a bit..the inner plastic just scrubs on the top of the tire when i hit bumps on the road. and when i i go around a corner and hang the arse out (powerslide) the wheel just rubs on the actual gaurd itself i think due to bodyroll....to eliminate all of this i would it be recommended to just rais it .5 inches, and buy a bigger front sway bar to stop the body roll, and mould the plastics up a bit or just rip it out...in affect of ripping of the plastics will this mean when rocks flick up under the gaurds can they dent the actual gaurds???
-
nah not yet only just lowered it and driven it only once..what effect will ripping out the plastics have on mud and rocks flicking up will it put dents on my gaurds
-
hi guys..i just want to know if anyone has really dumped the front end of their r32, mine has 19inch wheels on it and she scrubs out quite a bit now on the plastic thats under the wheels wells...is it aiight to rip the plastic out completely?? or will it look shit under the gaurds..i also has to do a bit of body trimming to help the rubbing regards luke

ok just read through it a few more times cos i wasnt quite getting the picture...so when i get one of these kits, i wire the solenoid in to the actuator, but then in the kit it comes with a map sensor which is needed for the information to be sent to the power fc (am i on the right track) but because the r32gts-t's have a map sensor standard that runs to the ecu already, that mean i dont have to run the new map sensor to the power fc right?? is there any wiring involved in using the existing map sensor or does it just remain untouched i just wire up the solenoid and whatever else is needed to control the solenoid..is this how it works on r32's
-
where the map sensor is that the little black box on the drivers side firewall
-
ok because i have my power fc just sitting on my desk..i just need a few more parts before i get it tuned...ok so if i buy a power fc boost control kit, is there a specific one for the r32gts-t is there.. and i dont understand what u are talking about a map sensor..i just want to run my air flow meter...also just wanted to know about boost spiking with the kit..has it ever happend to you guys.....on the side of my power fc i have a ps/2 socket and another 3 pin socket...what is the 3 pin one used for is this the boost control input??? regards luke
