  2. BBGTR, what are you up to ? If I spent the big bucks on a stroker I'd be really disappointed not running a sub 1.40 The noise guy wasn't from the Alfa club. I think he works for the Island itself. Anyhow, they suck ass. It's a race track, not a suburban street.
  3. Yes, explain. I've got one of the quietest GTRs around and I was flagged in the first session for noise. Apparently my car was 83db and the limit for the track was 75db. Beno has tweaked some magic into the car. I was litterally just warming up and had traffic holding me up and I was completely surprised to see the 1.45 times. I'd say now that 1.43s or even better if I get brave are possible with the car the way it is. I went out in the second session and got flagged instantly. Home time after that. BUGGER !!!
  4. can't wait. I got in real early on this one.
  5. http://www.duttonrally.com/_05VICresults/A...ghtCoDriver.pdf The results speak for themselves. AND, I do have some excuses why I wasn't further up the list...Like Dutton farking up the results at the Police Driver Training Centre and putting me last... LAST !!!
  6. No need for practice. That stuff is all too easy. After seeing how wrecked your car is now though, I may pass up on it. The 50 hard core launches aren't nice to the car...
  7. I wonder what my car would be like in a Dutton ? (with a Scotsman co driver)...
  8. yes they will fix comfortably. they'd look silly on a 32, but the 33 and 34 are fat beasts.
  9. happy birthday Stig dood
  10. I would say there is only one car in Australia you can confidently say you could do that in. Sell yours and buy Beno's car. I'd put my hand up to takes Scotsman place as co-driver,, providing I never had to be in the car with you driving...
  11. how do you set up a poll ?
  12. Dude, I've got two kids and a fast 34... ya gotta keep it. don't sell....
  13. Jack, have you got your incar video ready?

  15. This is great stuff. A lot of passion. The only thing I can add to it is it is a tricky track and to cut some sharp times will take a bit of practice. The GTRs would have dominated the Zed if we drove them to their limit, but the track got the better of us. Next time the Zed is gunna have to watch out. I'm putting serious time in on V8 Supercars 3....
  16. Crikey..
  17. ps: the Stig has heaps of in car video. He needs a hand to get it off the MiniDV for conversion and hosting.. We don't have the cable for his cam.
  18. What a great trip !!!. Thanks to the Stig for taking me up there and back in the truck. DVD player, fridge, panoramic views and great company. Killer road trip. Also, big thanks to the organisers whom I suspect are Snowman, James and Bec. If I left you out, thanks to you too. The NSW guys I met at Eastern Creek were top blokes and very helpful. Now the track, Eastern Creek. Killer !! What a great place, awesome track, top facilities and the format was the best ever. It's a full on challenge with just about every corner on the track being blind. At least three of them are straight after crests so without a pacenote dude in the passenger seat yelling over crest into medium left, you have to be careful. Phillip Island takes the top spot for best track due to its hard core fast corners but Eastern Creek has to be second for its super enjoyable, challenging and still bloody fast corners which all link and are soo easy to stuff up. Yeah!!
  19. Comes with the serial cable to connect to a PC and download maps. This version does kilometres per hour and MPH. http://www.gtechpro.com/ It will measure the following (plus more) 0-100 time 1/4 mile with 60 foot time, 100, 200 times car power based on vehicle weight lateral max Gs in a turn speed throughout a run You can download the runs onto a PC and using the software look at every millisecond of the run and compare it to other runs etc. Very handy for drag racers etc. Unit has been in my car twice only. PM me $240.00
  20. see you up there folks. I'm riding shotgun with the STIG. Eastern Ck better watch out !!!
  21. You'd be better off running RE55s as a daily driver tyre. They wear at about the same rate and are worth 2 seconds minimum per lap over the Azenis..
  22. That's great... Love it !!!! Next time don't follow JFK around, he's probably slowing you down
  23. Awesome stuff !!! That's seriously quick....
  24. Pass on Wakefield.
