Price is $84,000.00 here it is again if you missed it the first time.. $100,000 spent and 3.5 years of hard work has gone into making this one of the best R34 GTRs in the country. Its super fast, super quiet and super nice to drive. The key thing to understand with any GTR is that you may save money up front on the car, but they all will require a lot of money to keep running. My car has had absolutely everything that needs to be done to it done in order to make it completely bullet proof and easy to own. In fact, all you will need to do with this car is change the oil regularly and service the car as if it were a standard car. The car is built to such a high quality that it will run at this state of tune indefinately. Currently my car is tuned to 380 rear wheel kilowatts on the Racepace dyno. Tuned by the master, Ben Dirks (Beno). Its awesome !! The HKS 2.8 Step2 motor was built personally by Ben to offer the best possible level of reliability. I was not specificially after top end power. I wanted drivability and performance and most of all reliability. The entire motor was built from brand new components. FYI, Any 2.6 engine that runs a standard crank will cause you problems if the power level is 340 rear wheel kilowatts or higher. The standard crank is not counter balanced and when driven hard at high output, will crack the block and wear bearings fast. The HKS 2.8 is built with a forged lightweight counter balanced crankshaft, billet H Beam rods and the step 2 pistons. The kit is specified to deliver 800HP. Mine is tuned to around 550HP leaving plenty of tollerance for longevity. If you want more power, turn up the boost and timing. It has a near new Harrop brake kit with 381mm 6 pistons on the front and 343mm 4 pistons on the rear. All lines are custom made dot approved braided steel. Every suspension component was replaced with top quality jap parts with custom valved Tein RA shocks. The multifunction display and speedo cluster is NISMO genuine items. 2 grand alone for these. the list goes on and on. If you start at the very front and work you way to the tip of the exhaust, everything you come across has been upgraded or modified to deliver the absolute best GTR experience possible balanced with the reality of driving on public roads and going to the track and kicking everyones ass. This is the car to do it in ... Let me know if you want to know more...

The proof is in the driving and what the seat of the pants has to say. The dyno numbers are easy to crank up with some boost, timing and a little less fuel. The stig knows !! -

must be fckn good. I'm used to mine and its hard to imagine what the VCAM must be like. I've resisted the temptation to tune mine hard for big power on the top end but the torque as it is now is amazing. I can't wait for you to take me for a drive in yours. I may end up pulling the add of carsales if I do. Maybe I am better off not going in yours. FYI, at the power you have now, a 35 will be dust. I've rolled on Snowy with his extra 60 at all fours and his with the extra power just pulled ahead, marginally. Your has more power than mine and a stock 35 has heaps less than Snowies did. You'll own them no problemo. -

This was a brand new set of tyres prior to one track day at Winton where I did around 12 laps. The TTs are worn on the outside edge, but have almost new tread depth across the rest of the tyre. The SR2 still looks new. Looking for 300 bucks for the set. Melboune buyers only. 0425 739 332

nice work there everyone. My theory on the RE55 TT rubber wasn't quiet correct. Also, don't mix them with normal tyres. The TTs only worked on the out lap and for the first bit of the first quick lap, the SR was trying to spin me around during that time. Then the SR kicks in and the TTs turn into mush. After the first 6 laps of the day, the TTs were basically ruined. I must admit though, even though they were ripped to the shithouse, the grip from them straight from the pits and the first couple of laps was spectacular. I think its time to look at the Dunlop Direzas everyone is running now. The wear I saw on those was spot on. You'd get at least a few track days out of them. Poor Snowy, nothing worse than a long drive up the Hume for a pesky issue like a bearing to stop your day...

I hear it is awesome. We should meet up and swap some knowledge. I'd love to suss out the VCam and I'd be happy to take you over the rest of my car and where all the time and money has gone... Beno knows how to hit the bullseye with all of it now, but it took time. The 33 is a totally different chassis. Great thing with Beno is you feed back the cars behaviour and how you want it to behave and after an exchange of time and money, you get exactly what you want. I don't know anyone else that can do that as well. I've only put about 3000 ks on mine in the last 20 months, basically since the build. Damn waste. Winton in a couple of weeks should be a good test for it... -

Either you haven't got your labour bill yet, or the parts you bought are hot. At my advertised price of 89K, I'm not sure how you could build up one of these including the car purchase price. I know mine has over 100K spent on it then there was the price I paid for the car itself... I'd love to get around to putting the variable cam set into mine one day. Its already insanely torquey with the 2860 -5s and the 2.8 HKS step2 kit.. (plus all the other top secret stuff of course) I'm still running the standard intercooler and plenum. I see you changed both of those... Is your's running yet? I heard it might be.. -
I'm in. Better not bloody rain... My 34 is ready for a serious time attack//

I think you'll be changing the graphic in your signature soon Ryan... Can you send me the image of the Sileighty with a cross through it? I'll need it for mine after next Saturday.... GTR POWER !!
-
I'm entered and paid. This should be fun. And I need to dispell that myth getting around that "teh GTR can lose"
-
A couple of questions if anyone knows the answers, it would be most appreciated. 1. How much kw at the wheels was this car running over stock when it blew up? 2. How much would it cost to rebuild the car after suc a failure? thanks
-
cool turnout. I forgot that the diffusers need to be off the 34 to get it on the dyno. It was also a good excuse to not be toasted by Snowies R35GTR which pushed 349 at all four. We snuck a little roll on and the 35 was able to creep away from me.. she's a quick unit. I reckon I'd take a stocker but once the power up kit has gone in it is all over...
-
well done everyone that went. congrats to those that got PBs, and far out, 1.33 for ADZ. He's got that car by the scruff of the neck and shaking the hell out of it. Awesome...

No Winton for me now so I'm coming to this on Sunday instead.
