  1. Some pics http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ju...Ca-t254990.html Carsales add http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...r&trecs=463 Here it is again with more information (again). I can't remember everything but the main points are listed below. Before you read any further, I am looking 95K. It's a killer beast and I totally love it but I use it more for charging my kids RC batteries than I drive it these days. The new rules in the bitumen rallies allowing Z-Tunes means this car now qualifies if you wanted to cage it up. So, here we go... 1999 model VSpec with around 40,000 genuine ks on it. Engine has less than 3000 ks on it. Most just driving around town. It was built this year (last year now) with the following parts: New N1 block HKS 2.8L Kit Step 2 Rated 588kW(800ps) includes the following Forged piston kit (nickel plated & piston surface has a final molybdenum coating). - Fully forged & balanced counter crankshaft. -H cross section connecting rods. PISTONS Piston material is specially forged to HKS specifications. This ensures high strength, durability, reliability, and produced to high dimensional accuracy. As a result, this forged piston enjoys tremendous weight savings, and a well balanced part. The piston crown has a balanced & symetrical concave section design which ensures higher engine response. Any larger concave section will result in a drop in compression ratio, and will affect engine response. To reduce abrasion resistance, and to improve performance, the top piston ring is titanium coated. In order to acheive an overall low piston height, piston design with two thin piston oil rings is adopted by HKS. This ensures minimum friction, and a low tension type piston. CONNECTING ROD With the use of high pressure forging for the material, the part does not requires much secondary operations except for the mating bearing surfaces. High tensile bolts are used to prevent cap opening during high inertial forces generated at high RPM loads. CRANKSHAFT The strength of the crankshaft is ensured when the metal fiber flow is not affected during the forging process. It is a full counter form, balanced to high tolerances where smooth revolutions are ensured. This results in loads being evenly distributed onto the metal surface, and reduces frictional loads. It is extremely light and strong compared to the factory item, and other aftermarket performance crankshaft available in the market The rigidity of the pin side is improved with the addition of a rib to the connecting rod pin. The crankshaft manufacturing process is completed with a special hardening process according to HKS specifications to ensure increased reliability at high RPM loads, and reduce fatigue. Tomei Oil Pump Big 9 litre sump N1 water pump head work done by Ben at Racepace to his latest spec. This is crucial to the low end response. It feels like a V8 at low revs. 2860 turbos Suspension fully modified to give a nice ride around town without harshness and to also outperform most other cars at the track and through the hills. Includes: revalved Tein RA shocks custom upper control arms delivered mega caster and lots more Diff has been replaced with a shimmed up mechanical Brakes are HARROP with braided lines front 381mm rotors with 6 piston callipers rear 343mm rotors with 4 piston callipers Bonnet is genuine Topsecret single skin carbon Front bar is genuine Nismo Side skirts are Doluck Large trust radiator. Oil cooler... Has the Nismo multifunction display with 2 bar map and G-Meter page etc Nismo 320km dash with 7,000 ks on it. Comes with original dash with 33,000 ks on it. Exhaust is completely hand made 3.5 inch. Even has a working cat converter in it to keep the EPA off your back. Super quiet. In fact, while driving down the freeway, I can hear the climate control servo making minor adjustments occasionally. Every other big power GTR I have seen is loud and attracked the wrong kind of attention. Rims are 18 x 10.5 + 12 TE37s in black. Comes with 2 sets of tyres. The list goes on.... It cost me a fortune to get set up this way so it will kill at the track and be a really nice standard feeling car on the street. Looking under the bonnet the only clue it isn't stock is the combination catch can / washer bottle and the silicone intercooler pipes. It still runs the standard intercooler, airbox and plenum. Interior is tip top. Only the odd small scuff by a careless japanese guy around the ashtray. Currently it is producing around 390 rear wheel KW on normal pump fuel and is tuned safely so it can be driven to the track, take the win and drive home without breaking a sweat. The power delivery is amazing, it is strong from idle due to the capacity and top secret work on the head. It pulls hard from nowhere and hits around 300 rwkw at 4000 rpm. Most cars are only coming on boost then. This is very difficult to achieve with a working catalytic converter. Remove the cat, retune and the power will jump over 400 rwkw instantly. If you have the money, or know someone who can afford it, pass on the info and feel free to PM me for more specific info. I don't need to sell the car, but having it sit around doing nothing is a bit of a waste.
  2. Throw 80K at the NUR and it will be a good car. For now, you'll have to put up with EVOs and WRXs handing your ass to you on a plate.
  3. FYI, I was first to Apollo Bay and if I drove any slower, the Chrysler Voyager behind me would have been getting impatient with me.
  4. Yep, that was me. Thanks for the feedback on the car. I have to admit, its a severe animal. I leave it in fourth through the hills and it rips so hard from down low all the way. Surprisingly though, I got home and still had a 1/4 tank of juice left. We had a bloody good run. A couple of cars got in our way but they don't take long to get the drift and pull over and let us through. Who ever was in the 33 GTST was driving extremely well to sit behind me.
  5. We had a good run back through the Otways. Clean driving, qucik and neat..
  6. LOL Budge. You have to admit though, it would be an amazing feeling to be backing that magnificient machine into your garage. Congratulations Snowman !!
  7. I thought I had it good with an R34GTR and a Holden Rodeo twin cab. A 34 and 35 takes the cake. If you like, I'll break it in for you this Saturday on the SAU cruise down the coast. I know you'll be busy at Phillip Island in the blue one.. Promise to only use launch control a couple of times..
  8. Brett Middleton last. That makes me sooooo happy. The guy is an asshole !!
  9. Thats very powerful for a drift car man
  10. I have four brand new, never used RE55s, 2 x left and 2 x right. (One complete set) They are TT compound, which is better than SR for the following reasons. SR tyres need to warm up for at least two laps. TT Tyres are ready to go by the time you complete your sighting lap. For this reason alone, the TT tyres do not cold tear and are likely to last at least as long, if not longer than SR. The TT also has superior grip and will give you better lap times. Price, $1500.00. I will not accept offers of any less. Location Melbourne 0425 739 332
  11. what an amazing machine. I gotta get me one of them one day
  12. I'll have a go at it. I've recently bought a scanner.
  13. it's one of those situations where it is only for sale if the right money comes along. My mortgage would welcome the bucks.
  14. Thanks for the kind words all. The rims are TE37s, painted. The TE37 stickers looked uncool so I got some Nismo stickers made. Looks much sexier. The side skirts are DoLuck. The badge is straight as far as I can tell. The aero catches are fastened to the radiator support brackets... They are brilliant but be careful fitting them, took me hours to get it perfect first time. more info is available about the car on carsales.com.au. I have a permanent add on there. If it eventually sells, then cool, but if not, I'm still happy because I love it. have a look http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...r&trecs=449
  15. I think the WRX Club Island day is a must for our whisper quiet machines. You in Stig man ?
  16. www.junsawa.com.au have a look for youself I took my 7 year old son for a drive through the hills in it today and it just blows me away how good it is. 34 degrees with the aircon on and still performs insanely well. Four long years of development and enough money to buy a couple more R34 GTRs went into it but I have no regrets. There is nothing like it.. FYI, if you simply click the pics, the browser resizes them and munges them up. You need to open them with a picture viewer to see his work..
  17. My R34. In fact, I think there is still another few seconds to be gained. It was spitting rain and I wasn't really pushing it in the fast stuff. Need to get back down there with the WRX Club and try again.
  18. absolutely added a classic piece of 04 ZX10R footage http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=ulSCUS9eZ_Y
  19. Thanks for paving the way for our cars to do some serious road rallies. There won't be much out there that can touch an extensively (expensively) modified R34 GTR. It's soooo good to have one hey !!!
  20. My black beast is up for sale. I' ve also listed it in the trading post and bikesales.com.au I bought it new in 04 and have fastidiously looked after it ever since. It has just under 11,000 genuine ks on it. I put a full Akrapovic race exhaust system on it with a Power Commander computer tuned for the pipe. It also has a Muzzy USA steering damper and a stainless steel radiator stone guard on it. Price listed on bikesales is $10,250.00 which is seriously good value for a bike like this. The ZX10R is faster than the R1, Fireblade and GSXR, and extremely light at around 170Kg. check out my ad if you are interested. http://www.bikesales.com.au/as/search/sd.d...Page=1&x=65
  21. if you can get it near the city for me I'll take it.. 0425 739 332 Aaron
