  1. Strikes here and there, pay disputes, me being part-time still. But that's another issue
  2. Here it is: http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=11322941&keywords=Slyti&tsrc=allcarhome&__Ntk=CarAll&__Nne=15&__Dx=mode%20matchany&__D=Slyti&silo=1011&seot=1&__sid=12254EA1D8D8&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_PriceSort_Decimal|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&__Qpb=1&__Ntx=mode%20matchallpartial&Cr=0&__Ntt=Slyti&trecs=1
  3. There's a maroon/burgundy one on carsales, looks a f**kin mint! I'm on my iPhone now so no link, but it's in Melbourne Has an RB30DET I'm pretty sure
  4. Price drop to $8,500, seen a clean downgrade of a car I'm after. Will be going on Carsales within the next couple of days
  5. Swaps + cash my way for a TX5/TX3 turbo or Mazda 323 turbo?
  6. Forgot to mention, the car also comes with the standard suspension setup and the standard intercooler+pipes
  7. I recently bought a 180 from a guy off another forum, and I think I may have financially put myself in a bit of a mess with all the shit going on at Qantas at the moment (employee). 5-speed manual blacktop SR20DET. The car is very clean for it's age, interior has no missing or cracked pieces unlike most 180's or Silvia's, and the car is completely unmolested, and owned by a mature driver. Only has a few tasteful mods which are all for the better of the vehicle. Has a new heavy-duty clutch installed in it, a C's short-shifter, GKTECH 'no holes' intercooler kit (meaning the battery tray hasn't been cut and leaving the car roadworthy), a Blitz turbo-timer and a turbo-back exhaust. Also comes with a set of white 17" GMAX wheels as pictured, and a new set of BC coilovers which are height/dampening adjustable. Other than that, the car has been very well maintained throughout, inspections welcome. Has 186,000 K's on it, and given the way the car drives and feels, you would think it has less. The car had a roadworthy done under a month ago for being too low, it's now been raised and should have no drama's at all getting a roadworthy Only selling to throw a little extra cash onto the mortgage in case the worst happens. I MAY consider swaps for cars of much lesser value and cash my way (would love a TX5 turbo). Honestly, for a car built in '94, this thing is the goods. Come check it out, inspect it, drive it, buy it, enjoy it. $9,000 ono Contact Manny on 0488582587
  8. Pics and a price will help your cause man. Been there done that back when I had my 32 lol. GL with sale
  9. Bump. No 18 year old time wasters either, wanting to play SMS ping pong Will consider swaps for an R32 GTST or 180SX + cash either way depending on condition etc
  10. I'm open to offers. Prepared to lose a little money but nothing ridiculous people. Let 'em rip
  11. Damn, forgot to mention it's the burgundy colour
  12. I recently (and regretfully) bought my mrs an S14 series 1 in Auto. It's as clean as you can get, with 180,xxx on the speedo and full service history to go along with it. It's the luxury model so it has the sunroof, the different front bar with the fog lights etc. The motor is as stock as a rock, and the only modification is a cat-back exhaust - other than that the car is in factory condition. The car is completely unmolested, never been boosted and never even had a front-mount intercooler because the battery tray is still in tact and untouched. If you want a car that's "worked off it's tits", then close this window. If you want a car that's been very well maintained throughout, then send me a PM Apparently, the car makes her look like too much of a "Maria" so she doesn't want it... She'd rather drive her Proton GTI (go figure), so now I've cracked it and I'm sick of driving my TX3 around - I want a manual turbo car for myself. I'm asking $7,000ono only because I know the condition of it. I'm not in a rush to sell it, but I'm interested in a trade for possibly a 180SX or something within a similar price range. Open to any inspection, bring it on Will get pics up within the next few days. PM me or call/SMS 0488-582-587. Willing to swap for a stock/clean 180 (prefer type-x) in manual + cash either way depending on condition.
  13. haha na man, worse! I lost it on the way to work many moons ago and stacked it into a pole. Was raining and there was diesel on the road coz it happened outside a truck rental place. (gotta update my sig but cbf) And yes, even the police said it lol. Your car looks mint man!
  14. Seen this in the flesh at my panel beater when it was getting the kit sprayed and fitted. Looks a lot better in real life mate, and then knowing that it's turbo makes it all the sweeter Good luck with the sale
  15. Not a V-Spec II but this thing looks mental http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/376180-1993-r32-gtr-280qwkw-22000/
  16. Thanks for the serious yet informative reply jiffo, well said. To the other guy, I have a TX3 as a daily buzzbox, gets me to work and back I guess. I might save up a little longer And to the OTHER other guy, my GTST was fun, but I won't get that again. Like my S15, the power was only at the rear wheels and fun, but dangerous. And on top of that, was cop bait with the mods it had, and it wasn't close to the power of a GTR. Pointless, considering I have more money now than back then while I was at uni
  17. Mehh. Evo's do nothing for me unless it's the Evo VIII or IX, and they're out of my budget. Rexy does nothing for me, unless it's the classic rexy shape in an STI, and they're too old to be spending money on just because "it'll have to do". I'd honestly rather the "dad in middle age crisis that thinks his cool with his family sedan cuz its got a turbo" I dunno guys. The R32 GTR and the S8 RX7 were always my favorite cars, one's engine and reliability issues scares me a little more than the other, and buying my first house 10 months ago, mixed with the fact that I'm paying it off by myself (mrs is studying) while planning to get married to my mrs in under a year or so, I think either of them would be a silly move. I'll probably end up driving a buzzbox for a few months and hit something up at the auctions with a bit of balls. Unfortunately, I think that's the way it's panning out for me. I don't want a car where I'm constantly spending money on to bring it back to par. I don't mind spending money to do it up, but I cbf spending money to make it "normal again". I wanted a fast car out of factory so it isn't cop bait, which is why I wanted a stock'ish GTR, but ahh well. Cheers again - the pussy cat
  18. Where's my milk bitches?!
  19. If this was in Melbourne, it'd be mine. Exactly what I was after, even the colour. DAMN!
  20. I think I might end up pussying out, rather than buying a car like that and leaving it abandoned because I can't afford to get it fixed every once in a while. I wanted a fast car that I wouldn't have to spend much on to make it fast (illegal), and with it being reliable. A GTR is fast out of factory, but the reliability, and my lack of knowledge about cars would kill me. Maybe an XR6T with mild mods will have to do Appreciate the time and effort some of you blokes put in, would have definitely saved me a few dollars here. Cheers again
  21. Definitely don't want the Ford more, if anything I prefer a Holden, I've got a VX Clubsport R8 atm lol. There's a couple on Carsales at the moment, one has a rebuilt engine with a million different aftermarket components. I'm far from mechanically minded, I just drive and enjoy the damn things. If something was to go wrong, I wouldn't know where to start looking
  22. To the person that asked what my budget is, for the car itself I have $17,000. That's ALL I have left over after I sell my current car, then I gotta pay for insurance and a service straight away for my own piece of mind. To the person that said he spends $5-$10K a year on fixing it, that's WAY out of my budget. If I'm spending money on the car, I want to be gaining results from it (bigger turbo, injectors, exhaust, cooler, powerFC etc), not fixing things to bring it up to scratch - otherwise I'd be getting my ultimate dream car in a series 8 RX7. I want a fast street car, that I don't have to spend money on to make it fast (IE my previous GTS-T, S15, Clubby). I want to buy it, do minor things like an exhaust, tune and have it to be a damn quick car that looks sexy. I've heard XR6 turbo's can be very quick with only minor mods (intake, exhaust, cooler, tune)... Buuuuuuuuuuut at the end of the day it's a deadshit boring looking Ford, no matter what rims you put on it and how low it is!
  23. I think you guys may have settled it for me, no GTR I guess I'm not prepared to fork out close to $10k for a rebuild. Was hoping to drive it for a few years without major dramas like that, but content with turbos and other components going. Oh well, may have to settle for an XR6 turbo. Thanks for the info fellas, may have saved me a fair few dollars
