  1. Thanks a lot for all this info guys but another ? is the comfort zone. Did these mods harden up the suspension as I want to go the Bilsteins/swaybar route but I do need to keep the soft ride but I want it to be a bit lower to the ground. Any ideas ? Thanks
  2. Thanks for posting those readouts, I know they won't be suitable for all cars but now I have a rough idea on what I should be looking at. As you do your mods could you please update the figures as you go along so we can see the difference if there is any. Also do you have the settings for the fuel controller you could post. I have made the kits but not fitted them yet untill I have a couple of things done first. I and others here thank you for bringing these ideas to us and it's really appreciated that you have been willing to share a lot of info on this and other subjects. Thanks
  3. Would this be suitable for a r34 neo motor with tiptronic auto? Thanks
  4. They look bloody horrible so I think you should sell them. Please advise on price lol If I had a set of those I wouldn't be asking for advice, I would be too busy showing them off. Look good on any colour car. Gary

    Defi guage

WTB Defi white faced fuel pressure guage with sender. Just need the guage not the controller. Thanks Gary
  7. Wellcome to Cairns Your car will need to be ozzie certified which it should have been when it was imported, approval sticker somewhere in the engine bay then you will have to take it to a RWC approved workshop for the roadworthy then insurance, rego. Keep using your current rego as it is until it runs out as there are plenty of cars here with out of state rego and then get QLD rego, but if you ever get pulled over by the police tell them you are just visiting as you are supposed to change over your rego within 2 months of moving into the state same as your licence, that will give you some extra time incase you have to do any repairs to get it to pass. As for a import friendly workshop maybe some others here are more informative as I have been out of touch for awhile but there are places here that are anti import (backwards types) and will tell you that you can't buy parts for them etc etc. I am a new import owner but a lot of blokes up here are very friendly with good advice, will probably see you around sometime. Gary
  8. Try and do a search for import rules and I think you will find that there are a lot of restrictions on modifications in the new system and also depending on the approved RAWS workshop. It would be a bit of bad luck to get it over here to find that you have to return it to standard and have to go out and buy some more bits. Buy your parts my all means but fit them after you have your approval sticker. Looks like I will have to do some things to mine before yours arrives  I might be very busy :headspin: :headspin: :headspin: Gary
  9. Mate if you live in Cairns I can offer you a drive/ride in a stock powered one if you like, just pm me and we might arrange something. Gary
  10. Hi Cameron Yes that would have been me although I rarely go to Stockland. We will have to catch up sometime especially as I need a good workshop to do some mods for me if you can reccomend anyone? Give us a wave, but sorry no guarantee I can see anyone besides what ever car is next to me. Gary
  11. I would like to fit some guages to my Stagea but where does everyone put theirs? A pillar pods are they legal in QLD? I just want to be able to mount a Boost, Water Temp, Oil Pressure and maybe a Oil Temp guage. Any advice would be wellcome.
  12. Hai burkey22 if you had gone up the road a little bit you would have found me in Cairns. Maybe next time you come up this way.

I am interested but need more info on the tuning as I don't know if anyone in Cairns could tune it and would a control handpiece like the Power FC be needed? Sorry about my ignorance but this is all new to me. My Stagea is currently standard but soon due a 3inch turbo back exhaust. FMIC and Turbo upgrade.
  14. I just purchased my Stagea 12/98 model, Neo RB25DET last week from the Gold Coast and I too was looking at the Chaser as well but the price was too much compared to the Nissan. Took my new car for a spin to see what it was liked, left Gold Coast 0930 yesterday and arrived in Cairns 0630 this morning and shit it felt good but soon due for a couple of changes exhaust, fmic and some boost. Took a 97 model with cat back for a test drive before the Neo powered 98 and there is a noticeable difference between the 2 motors. Really need to track down the fuse for the cig lighter tho :flamed:
  15. I am interested in what Brand, Price and Suppliers everyone is using as I want to replace my stock system soon. (My motor is RB25DET NEO)
