go a r34 just newer with a more modern interior newer engine etc if you can afford it. But like the guys said if you wanna drift or just have a turbo to strap around in get the 32 over a 33 anyday

300 SUCK. stick with a cheap car till you can afford a turbo skyline. No point buying a NA R32 because eventually your gonna want more power and want to put a turbo on it. Then your spending more money than you would have just to buy a r32 gts-t anyway. And gettn a factory turboed 32 your getting bigger brakes, 5 stud wheels, LSD etc rather than putting it all on your NA just be patient

Is it much work putting on the 20mm wider front guards???????????????????? Do they simply replace the original ones and need respraying or is there more work involved????

300 kw at the wheels is a lot of power and your goin to need a lot more than a boost controller and an exhaust hahahahahaha. You need to spend a lot of cash to make 250 kw never mind 300kw. Try a computer, injectors, fuel pumps, adjustable cam gears, fuel pressure regulator, dump pipe, full exhaust and the list can continue to increase the power then you need the metal head gaskets, pistons, valve springs so and so just to handle the boost increase. Lets just say to get 300kw out of your RB20 your nearly running it at its full potential there only really good for a RELIABLE 400hp. Want anymore start looking at its big brothers.

white smokes not good!!!! Like AL said tired engine. runnin too much boost or just floggin the shit out of it. White smoke can mean so many things thats why its not a good sign.

yeah got the front spoiler on mine, the only problem with them is they have to come out to install a frontmount. 2 big F$#k off motors sitting right in the way of the pipes.

Not much difference between type m and gts-t. I have a GTS-t and a friend of mine has type m. Because of their age they will vary in power and condition depending on how they have been driven over the past 20 years. Just look for a clean, straight car. As for parts, DONT CRASH IT!!! simple. know your limits and stay there. Engine parts will probably be replaced with aftermarket parts anyhow so no hassle finding them. Stay clear of RB25. Being a bigger engine they run higher compression which after 50,000 klm of being thrashed as we do, they tend to wear out quicker than the RB20

hey do R33 turbos bolt straight onto the RB20 intake manifold. What sort of boost can you put through them

check powersteering fluid HICAS light will come on when power steering fluid is low

Stay with the rb20. bore it to 2.4lt and your nearly at rb25 anyhow. cheap power. rb20s good for 400hp you dont really need too much more than that, spend your bucks on a good computer and tunning along with strong internal work and guarenteed a reliable 400hp car. and if its and every day driver thats what you want RELIABLE

had simular problems when first brought my skyline. Used multimeters to check fuel pump. Needs to be running 12volts but can sometimes drop to 11 causing a surge which can seem like a missfire. If not that check AFM. Does it have trouble idoling sometimes ??????????????
