Hi Please dont flame me for starting these threads but i'm a bit stuck as to what mod i should get next. Obviusly i want the most gain in power. I will be purchasing either a profec A ebc or a safc II next week but will only be able to purchase one at this current moment Current ride is a r34 GTT with a full exhaust and a pod filter. I'm looking at boosting it to 10psi and occasionally to 12psi for quick squirts (is there such thing as 11psi or is it even increments?). Is this ok for a gtt on stock IC and turbo? Will i experience any substantial gain in upping 2/3 psi boost? SAFC II well i guess this speaks for itself i think the safc II will be the smart "safe" choice but wat are your thoughts on an ebc?

does the bov need an adaptor plate of some sort to fit a rb25det neo?

anyone know if the obx logo can be removed? would prefer a more plain looking seat

hey guys, i still havent got my suspension problems sorted out yet problem: car skips around on small bumps when going straight and oversteers alot in corners with light throttle i thought it was the rear shocks but took it to pedders and they said the shocks were fine?? i've got stock shocks and stock springs and i cant think of what other reason it could be? btw, my question is whether a pedders check is accurate? he said the shocks were fine but i dont know if he's right as the back end skips like crazy on bumps on the road. i can also feel that the back is alot harder than before. i've done 4 wheel alignments so far from different places and still havent fixed the problem taking it to a suspension specialist tomorrow to see if they can get it sorted.

thanks all apparenty the back wasnt aligned, they only did the front and thus, the toe? was 2 degrees out or something causing the back to step to the left thus resulting in my spinouts to the right also found i needed new bushes so i'll get them replaced asap too

heya i've recently lowered my car on stock shocks it handles great on wet roads however, as it has recently rained, i found out that the tyres no longer grip the roads properly and that basic accerlerating, bumps on the road or turns would result in a bit of sliding of the wheels. sometimes it feels like i am hovering ? this is very scary and i've lost confidence in the car before lowering, the car handled great in the wet could this be a result of lowering? maybe i should revert back to stock? oh, also, i've found that the tyres have been covered with some blackish substance which has left a mark on the garage floor. Could this contribute to the slipping and sliding? anyone have any advice? i'm feeling a bit down right now =(

thats why my car is a 1999/2000 model currently only around 5 yrs old and after another 3 years, it'll still be under 10 yrs old the 93/94 supra i was looking at back then would now be approaching 12 yrs old already, great car, definately better than the gtt in power but not what i was looking for due to age like i said, if it was a 97+, then i'd wouldve definately went for it

for 30k, u can look at TT supras anyways, i had the same dilemma back when i got my car .. from my budget, it was either a 99 r34 gtt or a 93-94 tt supra r34 won due to: * Newer, as the supra was approaching 10 yrs old. Though i love the supra, i couldnt convince myself to spend the $30k to buy a car of that age * Supra's are becoming more common in syd (not to say that r34's arent but relatively there are a few more supras running around than r34s) * Its my daily driver, so big power and drag battles arent on my priority list however, with that said, i wouldve picked a 97+ supra if i had the chance =)

nah, it wasnt lowered yet the kings are 100% gtt springs i was gonna fit them but now i heard it'll be too low wif the kit so yeah, i'll give u the compressors tomorrow first

hi all i was changing my springs and "accidentally" managed to stuff up one of the top bolts (in the parcel shelf).. now i cant get it out as its kinda nearly circular.. is there any way to remove the springs without taking out the entire shock? if not, what can i do to remove the bolt? thanks

hiya sorry to hijack but can someone describe the pinging sound? sometimes i step on it and it sounds like something spluttering/blowing out the exhaust is that pinging? only seems to happen when the car is cold-ish

are you interested in the type R or just the lux? the luxury one is a good cruiser, the type R (from what i heard) is a harsh ride as its a drivers car for me, i'd rather keeping the r33 gtst and modding it or maybe upgrade to a r33 gtr or r34 gtt (which i have) however, a DC5/R is a great car none the less 130kw at the wheels with I/E/Hondata
