my friend has 17" AVS wheels on his r32 GTR and the offset is +18, they look good. I want to change my offset to +15 with my 17" rims, is that a good idea? does anyone have +15 on their gtr's?

can you sell me the clutch booster + master cylinder? also can you sell me the brake booster + master cylinder?

is anything still for sale?

yep mine sat at zero about 3 months ago. it was the plastic needle casing thing that sits at the end of the cable. it had to cracks down the side which meant that the needle that is held this plastic casing wasnt transferring the rotation to the dial. what i did to cure this, and today it works ok, but still has boogie, was i pulled the casing and needle out, becareful not to lose the spring, got some electrical "heat shrink" which you can buy at.... electrical shops... and cut about 1/4 - 1/2 inch, place that over the casing with the needle in it, then heat it up and it will shrink onto the casing holding it into place. thats my cheap fix, cost me 1 hour and no $$$. some interesting facts: nissan sells new ones at around 100 i think (for gtst). gtr cables might be different in design to gtst, and it would cost you less to put it in yourself.

hahaha 1/4 mile. yeh im confused about the towing law. some say its legal some say it illegal. but i used the tow points on the rear of the car with a proper tow rope from supercheap. lol it was funny.

mate i had a similar problem to you about a year ago. the sound your hearing isnt anything, well since my car works fine and boost's hard. first symptoms were i was comming back from the GTR cruise and my car was spooling but it wasnt boosting. i thought it was the BOV leaking.... about a week later i was boosting it on the highway and "pop"my engine stops and i thought i was in a world of sh!t. took me 4 days to figure it out, and you can test this to if you want. - my engine would start for 1 second and die.. with no funny sounds. -------- Rules out farked internals GOOD - checked if any pistons were dropped, by removing spark plugs and feeling for pistons with screwdriver ----- u dont have to do this, this was an extra safety step. - thought of the BOV's and checked them for any openings --- nope, all good. - checked the turbo piping and its hoses.... ............ ........... ........... my intake hose on the intercooler had come off --- simple fix, bought a new clamp from repco and secured it tight. the ticking sound stopped, so im assuming it was just the engines sound through the pipes. i guess over time the pipes contract and expand everytime we boost and this time it just gave way. so check your lines and see how you go. ps. when it stopped, the car wasnt boosting, it was pissing out smoke too... cant remember too well what colour it was, i think it might of been white.

im just poking around in the dark, but is there something like a reception booster you can buy at dick smith? if there is your might be able to hide it in your dash somewhere and have you 160 windscreen

ok NEVER MIND!!! pls disregard this topic.... i fixed the problem. I was playing around with the exhaust cannister and i put the pipes on the wrong nozzle. simple switch-a-roo and whala. happy hunting.

ok, i just changed the fuel filter now my idle is high and vacuum is bad. could i of accidently changed a setting on the plennum side of the engine? r32 gtr any ideas dudes?

kinda weird when you compare model prices. a decent, lightly modded, later model, will go for somewhere around 22g in Aus. compare that to a 34gtr with lots of power and style for just over double a 32. in that respect, i think 32's are over priced. =)

mine sounds like a turbo fan from a 747. all i need is wings and im set.

Hey anyone watching this on foxtel.... i think it's on Nat Geo or Discovery channel. at the moment they are doing up chevy SS?? R32 gtr WOOOT and a jetta. it was on last night at about 11pm and this is the second week ive been watching it.... good stuff to think about for r32 owners, whether you have gts gtst or gtr. good luck
