If it helps... i just had my clutch done with the help on Dan. I won't be taking my car anywhere else when it comes to mechanical. I got a great price for my clutch AND service, but now im poor LOL. I personally didnt like the drive of a twin plate, due to the strong grab it has. I went with a 5 puck button clutch, which now i have 600km on, and it is beautiful. I was more happy with this than the Single organic plate I had in it before. Im the person who jumps on the highway, go through a little traffic, essensially I am nearly an everyday driver, so I needed that comfortability in my clutch. I suppose, Ian, you do a lot of driving to your lady's (Not ladies LOL) house via the highway, so twin wont be so harsh on your valuable valuable leg =D. Good luck with your selection, Im sure Dan will be more helpful than anyone else with it. -Arbess (00MFG)

Recent Street Racing Hoons.. Us Getting The Blame.. :(
arbess replied to markimak's topic in Queensland
yeh backyard honda's are not my thing either. more like NSX and s2000 are cool. Mark my man your comming across a little stong there and being judgemental when you say 17-21 year olds? I would pick my words more carefully. There would be just as many wanker skyline drivers at any age doing the same sh!t as the beloved ricers. On a brighter note I had a ball today in the wet. Got meself a little sidewards. -
OOMFG, THE FINAL CHAPTER IS WRITTEN IN GREEN. First post. I'm going alright. The GTR is alright too. Contact Dan about the workshop I went to. My clutch has been slipping for a few months now. Yes I have been mashing it hard around the city. Launch, whats that? =) Sold your GTR yet? Thanks for clarifying.

Today I sent my car into the workshop to fit my "kick-as* state of the art" Exedy clutch. After weeks and weeks of excitement and months of slippery clutch action, I saved enough to get it all done today. As one would think, "yay new clutch no problem, just pop the old one out and put this in". If only it was that simple. I recieve a call and get some terrible news. The flywheel bolt has been fugged and its not in a good shape. The shop needs a specialist to get it out, which cost money. -At this point in time I stick my hand down my pocket and find some left over sandwich and tic tacs. They tell me its probably going to cost me $180 extra to fix the bolt issue. So I give them the green light to do it. Now at this point I'm chucking a sook and throwing a tantrum like a 4 year old in woolies. I tried chasing the old owner to find who did the clutch previously because apparently it was a dodgy job, with shaved bolts and loose nutz. I have no luck. ...............Well my story shall continue tomorrow. Why does owning a Skyline have to be a Love AND Hate relationship? Maybe my cheque book isnt big enough for this yet. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok its the day after tomorrow. Firstly I would like to thank Dan (3lit3 32) on his efforts for this machine. Even though Dan could not make it to do my clutch, his team mates at his workshop did a fabulous job of it and took great care with my car. Dan also took the time to introduce me to the suspension shop next door for other issues on my car. (I'm not sure if I can say which one it is, so I'll leave that for Dan) The final cost of the clutch + fitting was between the mark mentioned below in Dan's post. I was happy to pay that all because: 1. I have a kick as* clutch and I attained it at a really good price. 2. The level of service and workmanship was high class. As some of you may already know, there are only a handful of shops out there that will take the time to explain to you the isssues faced by them, and also charge you the right price for the work. Overall I am very happy with the new clutch and workmanship. I highly recommend Dan/Team of their work. In future I know where I will be taking my business to. The Epic Journey comes to a happy ending..... Till another bit breaks on the car, it is goodbye for now. -Arbess

open your boot. there is a little metal arm that can be adjusted up or down on the catcher. that is what you need to play with. the boot release "pin" sometimes pushes down on it. so just adjust one of those by a few millimeters and should be ok. when i say adjust, move it left or right, and thats done by loosening some screws.

As the topic states Does R32 GTST Racks fit R32 GTR? Is it just a direct bolt on replacement? thanks

Yesterday walking back across william jolly bridge, VZ Silver or Blue bommadore Plates go something like this: KWY22 or KYW22 Indy plates. Parked themselves just as u exit off the bridge and pass the Cultural Centre Bus stop. on the corner

nahhhhhhhhhhhh your all jumping around the obvious answer.... the button is a "skyline-know-it-all" button. see when an r34 owner presses it we all jump up and speak wisdom. it clearly shows. CMON whats the next secret button to fight over!!! while were at it, turn on the "skyline-know-it-all" button. wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot

any water left in bottle firstly? i personally would start where the water line sucks the water from, ie. the water bottle at the front and check for blockages. then i would jump in the boot to check the other end for blockages. if no end has proved to be the problem, maybe there is a kink in your line, or something is pressing on the line. so you might want to follow the whole line to find your issue. good luck **this is assuming that your wiper jet motor is still turning**
