I dont want to influence your case by saying any of this. I was pulled up once and the cop was just a foolish man. I know he didnt have his sound recorder on because of the way he was speaking to me. ANYWAY... He was going around and around my car trying to defect me. He started with my tyres, but said nothing then finally got to my exhaust, which was an entire 3" system I got with the car. He said that it was too big. When he said too big that could of meant a few things..... very broad. He then said its too loud, too big.. bigger than factory. My only reply was, I have a safety and compliance certificate for it. From what I saw, maybe because of his foolishness, he had no foot to stand on with my reply. NOW some officers may have done something different and booked me. But this officers then said told me to respect the police and go home and fix my exhaust????? WTF. Signs of loss.? I haven't really answered your question but given you some ideas about what I did when they said that stuff to me. They could of had a measuring device in their car, it could be illegal. I have a normal aftermarket exhaust that was complied and safety certified. That is all I stand on. You said that the police officer said your exhaust was not standard. Then he wrote you a ticket for not having a good enough silencing device. I would question that to define what a silencing device is mate. GOOD LUCK, thats my 2 cents. -Arbess

Well thats a good one. Spark plugs are under your coil pack cover. The aluminium bit that goes over your engine head (In the middle). Under that you have your coil pack, then under that are your spark plugs. =) Do you have an Rb20,25 or 26? The Rb20, you might need to take off the oil hose on the top first. Well done, I hope your C.A.S. was the problem... how much did you spend all up to fix your problem? Thanks. B)

When I start the gtr it makes this weird noise I have never heard on any cars before. The noise sounds something like... air/fluid rushing through a small section to fill up a larger section. A very high screeching sound that is in harmony with every kick of the alternator. The sound is a lot worse in the morning, but bearable in the daytime. I know that sounds like 2 different areas. My thoughts are: 1. A timing belt that needs to be replaced. 2. Some vacuum problem. I'm more leaning to number 1. Can someone shed light on my dilemma's. Thank you again. :lol:

There is some good help here so I may as well post up some other questions. My ABS unit is stuffed and it's leaking brake fluid from somewhere on the top. I purchase a second hand one from a gtr to fit my gtr. My question is, will a straight swap over of the ABS and bleeding be enough to rectify this problem? AND/OR Will I have to do more to fix this? Thank you in advance. :lol:

Where your gear stick joins to the gearbox shifter thing, oil seems to be coming out from there and lubricating the area. What are the causes of this? My thoughts are: 1: Over filling the gearbox with oil. 2: Somethings busted. Can I get some helpful information please. thanks. :lol:

Hello, I have an R32 GTR and the head light unit on the left hand side of the car is positioned a little weird. It is positioned on an angle a little bit making it so the gtr grill is angled up on the left hand side. Yes this sounds like a small problem but I get paranoid about it. The arms that hold the light in place are all the way in and bolted tight (I did that yesterday). I think this may be because of an accident in Japan. My questions are: How do I fix it? Can i drill the holes down a few millimetres and is that legel? What else can I check? Is this a known problem in R32? Thanks.
