Yeah its pretty hard to judge who has the best car in CQ cause there a lots of different ideas of who has the best car. I know that this is a skylines forum and all, BUT, I am working on a car at the moment, a 1966 VC valiant, and hopefully when JC Performance Engineering (HE HE HE) are finished with the car it will be able to peel of some pretty decend numbers down that 1/4 mile strip of road. Now the car wont stop, turn or handle but i dont want it to.

Matt i am not blind, 15yo imports are a good idea, but just remember these cars do not come road worthy or registered may need new tyres and even need money spent on them to get them to road worthy standard. The car may cost 7-8 grand to buy, but mostly they say have another 1500 bucks to spend on the car when it gets here. Plus that his car has to sit on the docks in japan for another 5-6 months and then be shipped over here which may take even more time. But if he is willing to wait HELL YES TO THE 15YO IMPORT.

Ah yes the Hyundai tiburon a formidable race machine even in standard form. You might be able to get onto a cheap NA silvia for around that 7-8 grand pricerange, But for that kind of money i think you would be pushing it to get a turbo. SSS or Silvia you should be able to beat your mates car. Both a nice cars. Good luck with whatever you get.

Also down at the Drags last time when Ricknismo raced was a 1972 ford escort with a VR4 mitsi. motor in it. It managed to pull a 12.6 at 109mph on 16inch street rubber and a open wheeler diff pretty impressive stuff. The car was build by a Mech. engineer in Bundy who went throught uni with my old man. He has a 11 sec series III rx7. And if that aint fast enough for him he also has a 11.0 @ 122 MPH XC falcon with a 460 c.i big block with his own fuel injection system that he made from a wolf 3D. This guys is nut, he just has a pure need for speed

What i want to know is who is going to be running at the drags on the 25th of January. I me FWDDRIFTKING is bringing the hondie down, and hopefully big bro will have the atmo turbo siliva ready with new injectors and fuel pump. But is ricknismo going down to punish the GTR that is the main point cause that i have to see. I missed the Street Machines GTR effort cause i had to work.
