R33 Gts-t clutches: Which are good
Zahos replied to «Cyph3r»'s topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Have a look at this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...=&threadid=2005 -
Why remove the relay when you don't need to.... Have a look at this link: http://www.dynamco.com.au/Sales/nostart_001.html This is a great idea, but last time I checked (over 6 months ago) it still wasn't available in Australia, even though it was developed, designed, and produced here by an Australian company.... And if you catch this prick, he cant sue you if he goes missing, can he..... Tie him up, and gaffa tape him in your garage for about a year, feeding him virtually nothing. Make sure you give him just a bit to stay alive (painfully). After a year, cut off his food supply so he dies from malnutrition. Then dump his smelly body in a park somewhere... Ppl will then think he was just a bum, and no one will give a rats c**t about him! Problem solved.

hey guys, if you want all these games, you can download them from kazaa, or from some web page. Get the emulators, then the games.... The Arcade emulator (the one that emulates the neo - geo arcade machine and others) is called mame. Also try winmame, winkawaks... The atari emulator is called stella the nintendo emulator is called nesticle, and there is also one for super nintendo, but i forgot what its called.... Also try looking for sega, dreamcast, saturn emulators, whatever you want, you'll find it!!!!! I have all of these games, plus more (about 1000 I think in total). EVERY SINGLE game from the 70's 80's, 90's, and many recent ones, i have em all, and they cost me absolutely nothing!!! I have to admit though, games you loved back then seem really boring now..... My owners handbook says the R33 has a 62 litre tank. The most I've put in was 59.8 litres (running on fumes I think). There is a 10 litre reserve I think, so it should show empty when you have about 10 litres left. I usually get arounf 400km per tank, but a few times I've gotten as high as 450km

hmmmmm From what I have read, Optimax has the highest levels of sulphur, and BP has the lowest... so I would think that optimax is worse..... But anyhow, dont worry about the smell Denham, it's nothing.... My womans Astra has been making that smell from new, so I wouldn't worry. I've noticed some cars make that smell while some dont, and all the ones that have had it were brand new. Zahos

Pod filter + CAI partition for R33
Zahos replied to Zahos's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
The partition I have is with the stock IC piping im place, but I have a template where I can cut another one with or without the holes for piping.... The foil backed foam was $10 or $20.... I think I got 1 metre coz I wanted it for some other stuff, and it was $20... so it should be $10 for .5 metre... -
Pod filter + CAI partition for R33
Zahos replied to Zahos's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey Ash, The partition definately wont fit your car, as it folows the shape of the R33 ungine bay... I spent a fair bit of time trying to get it to fit just right... My advice to you is to make one. Using a piece or cardboard, make a template, then cut a sheet of aluminium to match, and get some of the foil backed foam from clarke rubber on Keilor rd (opposite auto one). shouldn't cost you more than $30 to make, plus a few hours... (took me in total 3 - 4 hours). -
I'm pretty sure the owner(s) of success imports (no longer there) on Nepean highway - cnr gardenvale rd, used to own that. I used to see it every day parked outside their yard.

Pod filter + CAI partition for R33
Zahos replied to Zahos's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
The UAS website says the pod will fit both R32 and R33, but I cant confirm this. Can any1 tell me if the R32 and R33 adaptors are the same? As for the CAI partition, I highly doubt it will fit an R32, but if the pod fits an R32, then I'll throw in the materials to make it yourself... -

MRE, why are the 6's no good for OZ conditions? I presume if your car is completely stock, the 5's would be better, but otherwise, with some mild mods, 6's would be more suitable...

I had the same prob lately too... I have always used Mobil synergy 8000 with good results.... But lately I got a really bad batch, and the car has run like sh1t ever since.... I have even gone through a tank of BP utimate, and Optimax since, and my car is still not the same?!?!?!?!?! I find that with Ultimate, I get less pinging on idle, but with Optimax I get more power.... So I have reverted back to optimax, and refuse to run synergy 8000 again...

Pod filter + CAI partition for R33
Zahos replied to Zahos's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Forgot to mention, it comes with the adapter too... Aparently it fits R32's as well??? Here's a pic They go for $195 new at UAS http://202.139.242.57/pricelists/skylines%...ine%20parts.htm And they flow well..... And filter well too, because of the double layer of foam... -
I have a VR4 cooler in mine... core dimensions are 400x210x75 flows very well and is very efficient (so I've been told).

As the subject says... O2 rush pod filter (foam type - double layer), only few months old. Reason for sale - I cant stand the sound of a pod filter. $100 I have also made up a CAI partition for the O2 rush filter, (made from aluminium - with foil backed foam for insulation). $70 I can also make up 1 or 2 more CAI partitions for R33's (not sure how much material I have left, so dont quote me on that), but if you are interested, let me know, and I'll see what I have... Prefer melb buyers, but can COD at buyers expense Zahos

might not be just the plug.... If you were gone for ten days, yhe fuel in your tank would be pretty crap by now..... Take your car for a long drive (not thrashing it too much, as your car will ping heaps!) Burn up all the old fuel, and put some fresh fuel in there... THEN take your car for a good 10 min thrashing...... If you notice it is still pinging pull back a bit.... dont over do it.... The purpose of this is to burn any deposits off your plugs... Let us know how it goes after that... Zahos

gt radials has anyone got them on there GTS-T
Zahos replied to nizmokid's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
i had them on my old R31.... They are a medium compound... they are probably crap on an R33 turbo, as you will get lots of wheelspin, and bad traction in the wet.... When I got them, they were about $90 eack for 15 inch.. Unless they come out in different compounds, dont bother, I didnt like them at all. If you want quality tyres, do a search to see what others have said. If you want good tyres at low price, try find some second hand tyres... If you want new for cheap, you wont get anything crash hot, especially at 18"!!!! Zahos -
Hey Pawley, what kinda power figures you got? Reason I ask, is b/c if you go a colder heat range, the plugs will foul very quickly if your car is close to stock. I put a heat rating of 7 in mine (but I only had cat back and boost at the time), and with 2 weeks i had to change them.... (or clean em), so I went back to 6 which was a lot better for my car..
