  1. heres a pic of the late model headlights that i ripped off the members gallery
  2. dude those headlights are early model headlights I had a 93 R32 and the headlights are different so theres a good chance yours were replaced.....
  3. unless its an r32...but then...still ...whats the point? or do u mean 2835 series?
  4. a million yen is reasonable ...esp for a 4 door gtr!
  5. Looks like animae
  6. the car wont produce boost in neutral if theres no load
  7. Thats a tough if you wired it correctly, its hard to see how it could be the cause of your engine failure. If u wired it incorrectly...u could have seen 2 bar and.... BOOM! The only way i can see a boost controller contributing to engine failure is excess boost.
  8. dude no offense but beware.... wedding gowns are a pain to squeeze into any coupe.... Limos are still the best!
  9. sinking 10k into a car worth 20 does not make alot of economic sense...
  10. how abt a neon green R34 GT-R anyway have you seen concept cars in chrome? Looks fabulous...
  11. no offense but can i ask if you have any idea where australia is as well?
  12. I think it was a nismo r34 that took part in some 24 hour race...vague details...couldnt retrive the thread......can anyone find it?
  13. Hey Yardjunky... mind posting some pics of your ride for us to oggle at? how much did u pay for it anyway? (if u dont mind me asking....)
  14. there was this test on zoom about placing a 50 cent coin on the cam cover of a reving 1jz to prove how smooth it was.... has anyone did it on a skyline?
  15. another possibility is that you're running ex-auto diff ratios...although im not too sure what the exact ratios are...
  16. The newest 1JZs come in single turbo format and still make the same power. 1JZ also comes wrapped with pretty good looking/handling metal: witness the Soarer and the entire JZX90/100/110 series
  17. How hard do you drive? If u visit the track often that whole mass of fiberglass that comes with that widebody kit is going to be a huge liability....i'd imagine you having to patch things up every now and then IMHO i like the vertex kit, very clean and nice...but if your car was that low as in the pics....theres a very good chance you will clip the front bar if you spin out on the tracks.... Have u seen how often bits of bodykit fall off the D1 cars when they spin out?
  18. Rezz... how much do those 280 MRS command compared to a regular r33 of similar age?
  19. yeah i tot there were certain functions that the laptop software could access and correct that were fixed with the hand controller
  20. Actually this test is rather easy to prove... do it with your car unloaded.... wait 1/2 hour to make sure the brakes have fully cooled then do it again with 4 of your heaviest mates on board.
  21. Another option is to import one in on the private import scheme. But thats another can of worms as well.
  22. Dude ur dad has a supra and u've got a skyline? Cool Family! What does ur mom drive? Well if u want to drag the case u can do what others have mentioned...given how slow the govenment works it should be too difficult to drag it till may. Thats surprising though...i would imagine that even if the case is heard after may, they should consider the status of your licence at the time of offence, not at the time of the hearing.
  23. !@$king nice car dude (sorrie for the expletive but its most appropiate word!)
  24. as a smaller displacement engine they will feel slightly more sluggish than a skyline off boost. But give them a good prod in the backside and they pretty much go as fast as a skyline with similar modifications. less weight compensates for less power/torque. Do note that its slightly more difficult to live with an s15 on a daily basis compared to the skyline to due the noticable lack of cabin room. If you are a big dude u will find it harder to get out of an s15 than a skyline.
