i got a 34smic on a rb20det 165rwkw and after 'you know' i've stopped,got out and touched both end tanks of the cooler and the hot side was warm to hot and the cool side is suprisingly cool. my experience.

id never buy a holden,i've seen how the workers drive them. Enough said.

few of my mates work at holden,they said they got to choose subtle mods for 1 of the cars.which they then sell as brand new,weird stuff like Managers choice of mods or something. Didn't really listen or care as its just holden. Scott might be able to clear that up abit.

touch both end tanks,thats what i do. if you follow your pipes from the engine bay you see see which side is the hot side and which side should be the cool side.

probly,as i have done the same experiment on my car several times and can feel the difference dramaticly. r32 with 34smic.

he wasn't in the wrong,hence isn't paying excess,so taking that into concideration id say he was under the speed limit. Just trying to guage how strong these cars are. The assesor states whether its a write-off or not. Its an Investigator from the insurance company who decides if there was foul play who works with the police that are involved in the case.

i noticed my light was coming on for about 10mins just after a cold start in the morning but it would go away. wouldn't have a clue how to fix it so i got 1 of those lockbars and ripped hicas out.

can i ask what speed you was doing just curious cause you got alot of damage and you still have the front reo bar,i've seen a few skylines around with NO reo bar(big fmic) wonder if the reo bar helped save your engine. EDIT:just trying to guage how fast in a skyline causes X amount of damage.

its only the front that has to be up abit. personal preference,but if i could go back in time to do my turbo change again id replace all bolts,nuts and washers with new hi-tensile ones.

go for a drive through your local industrial area. for e.g i worked for a mob who made home & office furniture in which they had their own powder coating oven/facilities. BUT obviously didnt advertise as POWDER COATERS. Slip the foreman some cash. Bob's your Uncle. Too bad your not closer(Sydney),my old work does it for $7 per hanger probly double per rim cause they are quite big. if they make steel or ally furniture good chance they powdercoat it themselves or can put you in contact with who they use for their powdercoating. and its not just colours you can choose from,you can get ripple effects and all sorts of cool finishes.
