so is this VAREX thing a cannon or a muffler? cuase i got a cannon but do need the muffler replaced,this this might be worth looking into.

it has to stick out on an angle aswell.

your standard smic has probly never come off before so it will be quite STUCK. when your underneath pulling on the cooler,get a friend to hold the IC pipes sterdy in the engine bay. Yeh dont forget to flush.you'll SEE the black stuff come out.

with a 3" turbo back,can you just run a cat and cannon or would that be over the 90db?

dont ask me how,but some people have rb30's underneath their rb20 heads. my tuner done 1 for a customer in his vl and it was getting good times.(cant remember exactly) YES, i reckon a blocked cat would rob you of power,not sure exactly how much. id get it dynoed again after you fix the cat problem.

not sure,upto 165rwkw(rb25 turbo on rb20) so far with a better box and suspension and new tires so hopefully crack a high 13 gts4 would be heavier too cause of the AWD components

i think i may have that same 32gtr,mines black and it actually has a big exhaust sticking out instead of the poxy stocker.Not sure if they really did release 1 in 2000. its fun hammering 2nd and 3rd up those skinny winding roads in that rally course,it pulls so hard up the hill you cant even steer. I haven't ventured into the european section yet.

15.1 (think it was about 94mph) 2.something 60ft pod & cat-back i was spewin cause i lost to my mates vlT and got into the whole suspension set ups with a mate who builds drag cars(not the vlT owner) he said id have to move my mounting points of my suspension to achieve a better launch,as std spec is more suited to cornering whereas the vl's suspension is better suited to straight line because of the angle the shocks and springs sit at. i gave up on that,ill just get more power.

dont doubt yourself,but if Haysey's willing,id take him up on his offer if i was you dude. i wouldnt do it again but i did mine plus change oil line from 6pm 1 night after work till about 11:30pm with 1 set of sidchrome spanners and im far from a mechanic. Like i said if you got the time,you cant stuff it up.the only thing is threaded nuts which = TIME

your got manual,why not go for a complete aftermarket ecu?

on my 32gtst i have a 34smic. That venting problem you speak of was over-come by not properly tightning up the inner plastic guard then running over it ripping it off. on the other side where the A/T cooler is i was abit more professional and cut out a square in that same plastic inner guard. Done & Done!

yeh ill be watching:) there was another show on fox8 where they were doing up a r32gtr cant remember though.

its just a round bar with 2 tabs on it and both ends have threaded vaginas aslong as you cant bend it by hand i guess.
