i was in the white ford ute stalking you.
preferably in the sydney area.
im after a set of water and oil lines off a r33 turbo
i have the banjo bolts,so just the lines is what i need
still waiting. or even if someones has rb20 water/oil lines as they will most probly fit.
finally tried fitting my rb25 turbo onto my rb20 yesterday.
with no success.
seems my water and oil feed banjo bolts on my rb20 turbo are smaller then on the rb25 turbo i got.
all i can think of is that my rb20det engine is a series 1 engine.
is it just a case of using the original rb25 turbo banjo bolts?
or will i need the rb25 water and oil lines aswell?
any info could help me
cheers.
anyone here with first hand experience with a rb25 turbo onto a series 1 rb20 engine?
is this for the resonator? (between the cat and the muffler just before the tip)
will this fit on a 32?
can you send me some pics please.
[email protected]
i heard that all you need is the cross-memeber(whatever a cross-member is) out of the vl in your vk to fit the rb engines. so dont quote me on it anyone :|
cheers Duncan, that helped me heaps.
Benl1981, how do i know which bottom end is good for the conversion?
different year models?
rebuilding wont be a problem.
rb25 head for sure.
so i just walk in a wreckers and ask for a rb30 bottom end, short motor???
whats the visible difference in short motors and normal ones?
i dont want to buy the wrong one thats all.
