hey guys, I recently had my cooler piping redone in my silvia so my bonnet would close properly it has any rb20det in it, anyway when i got it back from the place i had redo the piping. I took it for a drive and high in the rev range not quite sure where (have not replace tacho yet) it looses all powerand miss fire's badly for about 30 seconds during and after giving it a bit of throttle and then idels fine. you can rev it on the spot and it is fine it is only when driving when it is under load. I think it might be a coil pack but i tested all of them with a multi meter and they all have the same reading and the spark plugs are fine they have been in ther for about 45000 there iridium ngk plugs what do you think is wrong with it i also found that the place i had do the piping did not clean out the piping properly it had metal filings still in the piping still have to do a compression test but the power delivery is fine untill it starts to miss fire so i would assume that the compression is fine, it seams to be ignition to me but please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys this is a fairly good deal you are getting all the major parts except pistons so make some offers.......

This was advertised earlier as rb30det, i had not pulled the engine down to see if it was an rb20 or 25 head. I have now found it is a 20 head so i added a few parts to the list including a 25det head and oil pump which are near new and are required for the build. So here is what i am now selling. I have for sale: A complete rb20 head rb30 block complete (rb20 head bolted to block) rb25det head great condition (no cams or buckets bare except valve and springs) and rb25det oil pump Now i will not seperate, i want to sell all of this together because with all of these parts you have a basiclly complete rb25/30 with most of the major parts already taken care of with the exception of pistons they are vl turbo pistions so the compression will be to low for the build; also the water pump is rb25. The cams and buckets from the 20 head fit in the 25 head so you could basiclly have a complete head; and with the normal mods to make the head fit the block, which is farly simple and you have your self an complete engine. When refering to pics of engine every thing that was blue is now black and rocker covers a polished engine is a lot tidier and clean will try to post new pics soon. Price $1700 neg!!!!!!!!!!! Hey there guys i don't know if it has ever run and know idea how many km's are on it and i would like to know what head it is aswell. If anyone is willing to make an offer we may be able to work out a better price i just want to get rid of the bloody thing. Thake up to much room in my small shed.

hey there at the minute this is the only pic i have and it's an old one from when i brought it i had tidyed it up a lot more after i got it and then lost interest in it but i will endever to get a better photo of it. How can you tell between the 25de and the 20 from the out side i throught that the oly diff was the valve size 25 de bing bigger and the port size other than that they look identical. Oh and yes bare motor except exhaust mainfold and the bottom half of the inlet which has a shit attempt at being polished other than that it's a long motor. Thanks Aaron

I have an rb30det for sale i got it with a vl i brought which im currently doing a spray job on, anyway im not sure what head it is it is either a 20 or a 25de head but with out measuring the valves i can't know for sure, as this thing is put together and i have never even pulled it down, it just looks so good together plus i have never had the time and interest in it. So their for i have no idea what is in it: what rods or pistions or even if the head is suited to the block as i understand it takes a bit of machining to make a 20 or 25det head to fit (it is definently not a 25det head no vvt) i would like an offer over $1000 but realise you would be taking a chance on it as i don't know what is in it or if the head fis at all as i said i have no interest in it what so ever. I don't know how many KM's are on the engine either. Sorry i don't know alot about what it has in it. Hi guys i need as much information about tuning a 180sx in to a ute as possiable i have a fair bit of a idea from pictures etc but is there any one who has done it before i need to know what they did to reinforced the car considering you remove some of the main structure and where they reinforced it.
