  3. Yeah, my single slot grill has the chrome on the inside too, looks good I reckon. Pretty sweet build thread dude.
  4. Cool car mate. Is that interior stock laurel? cause, Dammmmnn, looks so much more modern than a cefiro's!
  5. What if the other guy is with the same Insurance I'm with? I had this happen to me. T-boned by a driver, swerving all over the road, after the incident had a witness say he's been following said driver, and they were all over the road, driver couldn't produce australian licence, or speak english, police wouldn't turn up. (no injury's) Eventually showed me a international licence, took all details, + witness report, no one else spoke to at scene. Inform insurance company (just cars) few days later get a call saying they have a conflicting witness statement saying i pulled out infront, causing accident. They would not let me see this statement, and said due to two different statements, we had to fix our own cars out of our pocket! Turns out Just cars was underwritten by AAMI, who insured the other driver. So it would be a loss for the insurer either way. Took a month of phonecalls and a letter of demand from a lawyer before they magically decided to repair my car and the other driver was at fault. Needless to say, got the car fixed then cancelled policy. Scammers
  6. Yes. You'll find in the PDS it will state all/any modifications must be legal, just another way to catch you out. Pisses me off, you can declare modifications, they're happy to list them, and take your money every year, but come claim time, 'oh no sir, the wheels/intercooler/gearknob are not legal modifications, car is not legal, we no pay' FFS insurance companies shit me. To the OP, you really need to contact the insurer when you add parts to the car, and get them added onto the policy and make sure the agreed value reflects the new parts, i.e add new wheels (legal size of course) get the added to the policy and ask them to increase the agreed value by the amount the wheels cost. You'll find the insurance company won't increase the agreed value without a big hike in your premium, but hey, thats how it rolls.
  7. If its an original a31 rb20det, the water lines have a different (smaller) banjo bolt. can't remember size, m16 (a31) instead of m18( r32, r33) maybe. Got caught out when I did this on my first cefiro. So you can get water lines off a r32 rb20, they will work, or make up custom water feed/return lines. And yeah, you'll see some gains. worthwhile mod if you need to replace turbo anyway.
  8. Pretty sure the alternator/starter motor side of things are the same between r32 and a31
  9. Nowra too far? Nathan at 02 autosports does them.
  10. Also if your planning to run a nistune, or want the consult port, it can be wired in, thats how i did my r32 gtst rb20 loom into cefiro. Well my mate did it (better with wires And yes, r32's did have consult port.
  11. Had a r35, moved onto a few cars since then. Currently rolling in a vk brock replica i think. As for the beached as r33, have seen it around the albion park area occasionally. Looked good
  12. Check the dates fella's, pretty sure he sold em
  13. Nice car mate, I like the black Agree with Toffy, series two i reckon, single slot black grill, chrome lights (front) and lighter smooth rear lights, cluster all point to series two, my second cef was a 91 modle I think, had all of the above.
  14. I had the same issue (one light working in auto) with cefiro no.2. Didn't end up fixing. There is a brown box plugged into loom behind drivers headlight, think this has something to do with auto headlights and foggies ( maybe) current cef is missing this and foggies and auto headlights no worky. It's ghey
  15. Yeah, I didnt notice much of a difference when I did my front mount on my first cefiro either, think it was the added pipework made it feel a bit laggy, you'll notice a difference when your cracking gate for extended periods id expect, and as you said , better with a tune too. Good effort getting it behind the front bar, and major props to working on gravel! Not bad
  16. Snapped this cefiro while i was at Ebisu last.
  17. looking good man, like the use of all the JDM goodness too. If i tire of the rb20 will look at dropping a 25 in mine, still happy with yours?
  18. Any info on these headlights? Are the brick with projector clear covers?
  19. Hey champ, you can use s14/15 front knuckles. You'll need the lower ball joint to suit s14/15 knuckles pressed into your lower control arm, or just change to 14/15 or r33 lower control arms. These are around 15mm longer than stock. Need to redrill sway bar mount in the arm if you change. You'll also need to drill out your strut bolt holes, from 12mm to 14mm, as the bolts with the 5 stud knuckles are 14mm If your upgrading front brakes to 4 pot, lines will fit, but you'll need a shorter banjo bolt for the caliper, (i just cut mine down). Rear you can use any 5 stud hub/bearing assembly, so thats r32gtst, r33 gtst, s14, s15. will bolt onto your upright. r32 or r33 rear brakes fit with stock drum handbrake assembly.
  20. Champion! Thanks for that.
  21. Hey guys, need to check my cefiro, Silver plate, 6U90000CA31752518 CA31-752518 Thanks
  22. Ok specifically pics of the 'missing chunks from being mounted'? Visible when on the car?
  23. Cars looking good stang, what are the size and offset on your wheels again? I just picked up some P1's too. Pretty light compared to the Driftfeks.
