  1. the lines in the photo are not at the rear subframe, they are at the front, driver side near the kframe. the fittings you see there, i had to remove and remove the lines from there rearward so the hicas rack could come out. the only lines left there are the ones infront of those fittings.
  2. Just installed my hicas lock bar but having trouble identifying what lines to loop. long story short can i just cut the 2 lines here and connect them up? ive looked at the pics in the guides but honestly i cant see whats wat in them pics...
  3. Nah mate not a dailey at all. dedicated drift car, its my first drift car as im still learning but its not a dailey in any way. Hmmm, hard choice, so many different opinions, ive heard of people removing the front sway bar completley but i thought this would give more body roll? And i assumed the front sway bar needed to be upgraded for rwd cars not the rear? deano what swaybar did you throw in the rear?
  4. hmm well not sure what tien hr came out with but they dont feel like 10/14 maybe 6/8 possibly lower...can i just get stiffer springs put in?
  5. its a drift only car, trailered to events, no interior, un regod, etc.
  6. Ive been running the ASI 56mm in my 300zx for nearly 2 years, not even 1 issue yet. I also ran it in my drift r32 but i could not fit the shroud and the fan ended up eating the radiator to bits after 1 track day but it did keep it self fairley cool before it got eaten. Oh and as for there service i found it pretty good. I had an issue with the post company, I had the rad delivered to a mates house, he was on holiday and the time so they left a card, i got the card and went to try pick up the rad and they wouldent let me as it had my mates name on the box, i ended up ringing ASI and explaining the situation, asi then rang the shipping company and faxed over proof of payment ( from my bank account ) and gave them all the required info. bit of a head f**k but they helped me sort it all out!
  7. The only upgrade to my drift car in terms of suspension at the moment is Tien HR coilovers and some adjustable tie rods. Even after putting in the coilovers the car feels a bit saggy and rolly. So my question is should i get some fatter sway bars front and rear or get some better coilovers? I want to eliminate roll and have a nice stiff setup, What sway bars would you reccomend? and should i have it on the front or the rear?
  8. any ideas guys really need some input on this
  9. maybe popped a vaccum line somewhere or rattled some connectors. check the simple things first, ie : all vaccum lines connected, injectors plugs/ coil packs, ptu thing, cas ,etc.
  10. started a topic about this a while ago but cant find the thread. here is what happened... left car on a hill in backyard with hydraulic handbrake locked UP for about 2 weeks. This had caused the master cyl to fail and die and leak everywhere. I put another master in and now she doesnt leak at all. Now im having issues bleeding the brakes, long story short its like there is infinity air in the brake lines. The hydraulic hand brake just taps into the rear brake lines, when i put my foot on the brake pedal, and then pull up the hydro hand brake there is resistance like normal, but if i lift my foot of the brake pedal slightley but still leaving pressure on the pedal the hydro handbrake pulls all the way up and makes a loud whooshing noise, when i put my ear on the master cyl it sounds like there is either air or fluid being pushed back into the master cyl? can anyone advise? 2 workshops have tried finding the issue but have had no luck, for some reason i think my booster has failed but i didnt change it when i done my master because people advised that boosters hardley ever fail and i shouldent waste time doing it...but?
  11. Kustom panel and paint in wangara if your after some custom work or full resprays ( speak to joe ) or malaga auto body worx if you need a few little bits done here and there ( speak to sam )
  12. get a taser . im waiting for someone to enter my house without permission so i can taser someone right in the eye
  13. Quick update, All wired up and got them grommets in. Started nice and quick and ran nice and smooth so im happy! That 044 is VERY loud though, Not that loud in cabin though but when you pop that boot....GEEZUS.
  14. yep im actually gonna leave right now to get some grommets, more hose clamps, some more wire and a fuse
  15. I was talking to a bloke about this today and was thinking about getting the drifter re tuned for e85 but not sure if its worth it. currently only making 240rwhp on the rb20 with vg30 turbo on 15psi, all the usual bolt on mods but internally stock, stock afm and injectors, i am how ever running an intank 040 and an 044 with a surge. what kind of gains can i expect power wise changing from bp98 to e85 with the car exactly how it currently is?
  16. ooh sweet! well tomorrow i wire her up and see how it goes Thanks a tonne for the help and info!
  17. Ok well almost done then. I have 2 lines different though, i have that overflow on the 3rd port from the bottom, above the port that fills the surge tank, so i need to switch them around. Which is GAY cause i just spent 60$ on fuel injection hose and cut it up to size now i gotta go spend more lol
  18. Guys just want to confirm once again before i actually bolt everything in, as i went and got all my required fuel hoses, fittings and clamps today. The line circled in red there, do i go from surge tank over flow into that hard pipe, and then the fuel hose that WAS on there goes to the surge tank as well ? the other line under the car that i said goes to tank and looks like another overflow also goes to what feels like a plastic container INSIDE the fuel tank...
  19. snap on or nothing
  20. ok just had another look under the car...and i thought there was only 2 fuel lines, one going to rail and one coming back, but there is 1 more line that just goes from *somewhere* into the top of the fuel tank.... Do i just leave this one alone as im assuming its an overflow?
  21. alright cool thanks guys! now i have it sussed. gotta buy some fittings and more fuel line today. wanted braided steel but to expensive so buying normal shit lol.
  22. I had a look under there and i can see the lines, But they connect to hard pipes and then travel all the way down the car. I think i have my feed and return bit right but dunno what to do with the overflow bit of the circuit. Ok so i have the feed bit correct with my red line as that one had a screw and clamp and the other just had a spring type one i undid with plyers.. So then the blue lines can only go as ive shown here then? edit : Also, do i have to have another fuel filter after the external pump?? wont this restrict flow a bit? and can i just steal power for the external from anywhere?
  23. Hey guys few weeks ago i got my Bosch 040 installed intank, but im installing a surge tank now and using an 044 as the external pump. I get the general idea of how the system works, and what lines need to go where, But im having trouble identifying what lines are what under the car... the second hardpipe in the stock location seems to be an overflow pipe as its just a blank hardpipe that goes into the tank, but i dont know if the fuel line that went onto that hardpipe is the line that comes from the FPR or not?.... Im using this photo as a guide -
  24. Back with dyno sheet and re tune. 89 R32 gtst ( stock internals, stock injectors/ afm etc ) GTR size FMIC VG30 Turbo HKS Split dump into Kakimoto exhaust ( de - catted ) Supercheap Air Pod ( lol ) Bosch 040 Pump Nistune 15 Psi was hoping for above the 250 mark, but i am very impressed with how the car drives
