80 bux ey, one bloke wants 4x that for both and another shop wants 100 just for the master. and yer, those bolts are f**ked, im a fatty and the only way i could get it off was to lie down upside down inside the car lol -
i meant the hassle of organizing all the crap and still getting to work on time, alot easier to just drive to tuner and walk to work or have someone follow me to drop me off at work etc.

Hey guys i recently had an issue with my brakes. My standard handbrake is not bolted down so for about 2 - 3 weeks i had my hydraulic handbrake locked as the R32 was on a bit of a hill, Im assuming this caused the booster or cyl to die but im not sure. On the day i went to get the car tuned the brake master cyl was empty so i topped it up, The brakes worked but i had to push the pedal ALL the way down and there was no pressure, it felt like a clutch pedal. I have removed the brake booster as shown in the pics below , i thought there might be a seal or boot or something that might have ripped under pressure but just by looking at the seals / boot they are not ripped or torn but as you can see from the pictures it is leaking somewhere, I assumed it was the boot behind the booster as when i pressed the brake pedal a few times i quickley ran to the front of the car and looked around the booster area and could see it leaking from behind but im still not 100% sure. Any opinions ? Boosters are not cheap so i dont want to buy a new one unless i really have to but if i do then i will. -
Thanks for that mate. How did you guys go about getting the car to run with these injectors? On the first page it sais the car may not run at all, I have a re tune booked but wanted to install these before the tune but if the car wont run with them then its gonna be kind of hard to get the car to the tuner? edit : also i have a safc 1 installed already so is there something i can do here to make it run well enough to get it to the tuner? im trying to save a bit of cash by doing some things my self but the next tune is just for the bigger fuel pump, i wanted to get the gtr injectors in and maybe even my z32 AFM as i wont have the money to get these done by the tuner on the day.

hey mate ive just acquired some 33gtr injectors to go into my rb20 what resisters did you use? as i want to make one as well.

After some gtr injectors for my rb20, prefer some r34 gtr ones with the resistor pack but pm me if you have something.

89 R32 gtst GTR size FMIC VG30 Turbo HKS Split dump into Kakimoto exhaust ( de - catted ) Supercheap Air Pod ( lol ) stock pump / injectors nistuned to 13psi 230rwhp will be re tuned to 16psi when i get bigger fuel pump / injectors. -
car is r33 gtst 2 door. need both door barrels, ignition and boot with key. replacing cause current ones are stuffed so obviously need good condition ones. PM if you got some.

hmm ok well ill be booking it in for a tune soon then. curious as to what kind of power i can make safely with the current setup. will probably get some bc coil overs soon.

hmm ok nistune sounds the go. i have a thermo at the front of the rad, its a push pull config, the fan draws alot of power though, when i switcn it on the idle drops big time so i might just use it when the car is stationary.

Well ive been building a drifter for the past few months, i bought it as a completely stock r32, didn't even have a fmic or a boost gauge. Since starting the build ive done the mods below. Hks Split dump into 3" Kakimoto ( ill be running strait of dumps on track anyway ) Fmic Welded diff Pod filter Tune up ( plugs, oil, timing belt, thermostat, water pump ) 52mm Alloy rad ( stock clutch fan and electric thermo fan setup ) Boost and temp gauges Hdi Boost controller Safc vg30 op6 Turbo My next thoughts were to get a better exhaust and intake manifolds then go for a tune before hitting the track. When reading about the vg30 turbo i assumed that a safc would be enough to play around with to get the car running nicely with the new turbo, But have since been advised i need to spend another grand or two getting nistune installed and a tune with it before getting any benefits out of the new turbo, So im slightly annoyed and confused. So far i have test ran the car with the new turbo @ 15 psi, Pressure holds @ 15 on stock rb20 actuator from around 3500 to 7000 and doesnt drop off at all, ive not been able to give it a really good test because i dont wannt be speeding around in an unregistered drifter. But so far it does feel that the stock rb20 turbo @ 15 psi pushed me into my seat more than the vg30 one at 15psi, again ive not got it tuned yet. Any thoughts / opinions are welcome!

haha bugga, already installed my safc lol. and i went for a hoon around yesterday running 15 psi, feels ok but doesnt feel like its pulling hard enough. Actuator held 15 psi all the way from 4000 - 7.5k and didnt drop off untill i let go of throttle.

Hey guys i just installed this on my r32. Quick question, I have a safc, is there anything i should change before going for a test drive? Or will it be ok as it is? Will be getting a tune soon though.

i recently got a vg30 turbo to bolt onto my rb20, i have a few questions though, how do i find out if its ceramic or steele? it sais 45v2 on it. Also, im putting the rb20 actuator on the vg30 turbs, will it hold 15psi or will i need an external wastegate? -
btw can the series 1 rb25 r33 turbo run higher boost safley than the neo turbo? the series 1 is steel wheel right?

btw i read the dyno upgrade thread but unless i missed it no one on there posted results with a neo turbo? plenty of rb25 s1 and s2 though. Would it be unreasonable to ask for 200rwhp on a build like below. FMIC 2.5" Turbo back with hi flow cat R34 Neo turbo 14Psi

hmm i dunno what year mine is will double check ( tis a track pig ) can you mannually adjust the actuator for 14 psi or will i need a boost controller to do this?
