Talk to Slide off this forum! i just bought one for my rb25 & its being put on as we speak! its got the 0.82ar plus im putting in poncams etc so it should be fairly responsive!

Yer they can do everything! they have done my Gearbox, Suspension, AVC-R, services & currently rebuilding my motor! The guy to talk to about you skyline is Mark cause he knows his sh*t & he has an rb25 so he knows whats goin on!

I just bought a GT30r off him here are the specs Specs: Turbine: -84 trim 60mm GT30, Compressor: -76.2mm 56T compressor Compressor housing: 4'' inlet 500hp rated Dual Ball bearing core Internally Gated Exhaust housings: T3 inlet GT30 outlet 0.82 & also GCG offer the same thing except they rate this turbo @ 600hp! Anyone know why?

Yer there is maby $600 worth of pissing about with it! & it will be heaps laggyer than the GCG but im putting in cams & all that stuff! And if i wasnt putting in all the supporting mods i would have went for a gcg highflow!

I have an AVCR in my car & if they are setup up correct with all the function they are perfect! Only one thing i don’t like is that you can hear it pulsing when its on boost, pretty load but mainly due to its vibrating on the body! Go speak to Hamish @ Revolution Racegear! i buy everything through him & he should give you a good price!

I have just bought a GT30r & waiting for it to be installed. But it requires a space place, braided Oil line & modify the water line & also the exhaust need to be altered abit but i guess it depends on the exhaust housing you choose!

I was aware that a Std r33 s1 rb25 head gasket was 1.2mm! Is this true or not? -
Hey people! Quick question! Does anyone kow what the CC ('Cubic Capacity' I think) is of a std rb25 (1.2mm) Headgasket as i am trying to work out the Compression ratio & this is the last thing i need! Cheers Alan

Yer its a 0.82ar Exhaust housing! So it should go nice with a set of poncams

i thought the ar for a rb25 was 0.63 but im probably wrong! This turbo i am geting has a 0.82 or 0.83ar

the GT30r bolt onto the Stock manifold, But the Dump will need modified slightly & bradied Oil & water lines are required! Gunmetalr33 when do you see full boost & how much power are you making? Cheers Alan

I rekon it is the perfect turbo for me & it shouldnt be too lagy with cams & a good tune! So thats what im opting for! But if anyone has one on there car let me know how it performs

Yer im in the same process as you but my only last decision is the turbo and im leaning towards to Gt30r from Slide as its Internally gated & will bolt on to std manifold and should see around the 310rwkw with the correct motor! Anyone using a gt30r internal gated turbo?

What turbo you going to use? Im just in the process of putting more money into the car with a GT30r IW turbo from Slide, Nismo 555cc, Tomei poncams, z32 etc! plus i already have the other mods! So im hoping to see around the same power figure! But i was just interested in what turbo you will be going for!

ACL told me that they are Ross Forged Pistons which he said should be 8.5 to 1. Does anyone know what the std Headgasket size is on a r33 gtst? 1mm or 1.2mm

Nar im going to be running the std turbo i am using one of the new gt30r internally gated turbo & all supporting mods!
