they have done this heaps of times, never been a problem, to point the finger at Ray and the crew isnt right. cops were there at the last one, they just hang around westal road and go people being stupid, and there was more people there then. friday was cold and wet still a big turn out but there have been bigger, cops are just using their anti-hoon bullshit in anyway possible. being a blitz weekend also, cops are just getting a bit to big for their own shoes lately. if they hung around for a bit they could see for themselves it doesnt need to be controlled, common sense and courtesy when maneuvering the cars in the street make these Dyno night run smooth.

my factory one locked me out in the rain, it would open but then the alarm would sound, and i have before in another activated the immobiliser, not much fun. so i was standing in the rain trying to trick the car, very tempted to kick the shit out of my car, but knowing its a rust bucket i didnt wanna put my foot through the door. never used the stupid factory alarm again.

i've always been told this. if we are not legally allowed to park on the grass, cause its council land, but when they park there you allowed to fight the ticket cause they were parked illegally in the first place. just what i've been told, but never really looked into it. but i know of people who got fined for parking on the nature strip outside their house.

i have a suzuki ignis thati use whenever i need to, sits there for ages, maybe a month and it cranked over straight away and drives fine. and only about 35bucks to fill it up = 420km so maybe suzuki of some sort.

if it was a marked car and you were speeding he/she would of came after you. if you get a letter in the mail about you speeding, ask for a photo, if he/she cant produce one, they can stick it, cause from what i know he/she needs your license and license number as hard facts you were driving the car if he pulled you over, so they can sign the fine straight to your name.

yeah i was thinking that too, like if some lady goes in to pay for fuel, looks out the servo window notices some dude taking her handbag and phone and running off. when she reports it, she'll be the victim for not locking, and they wont have to waste their time and money to find him cause she just paid a $117 fine. easy cash for them.

it would be cheaper for us to leave it unlocked. if they want something out of your car, they will get in and get it. with my old Holden, i didnt actually bolt it in my headunit, just jammed it in with cardboard around the edge. i thought if some one wants to smash my window ($$$) then go for my head unit, if it was bolted crowbar through the dash surround to rip it out. this way they could yank it out and go, leaving my dash intact. but i lock my car everywhere i go, its never unlocked in my driveway, g/f sits in the car while i go into a servo or ATM i lock it
