i live on a street known for speed runs. So i call to report often. But only recently have i seen a unmarked car sitting beside on of the factories down the road. And one time going through Geelong a car full of bogan's drove past pointing a real looking toy gun at other car's, didn't think much of it. Until they pointed it at me and and did the asian eye thing to my partner. So i rang the cops and gave them the details and followed them untill they turned off. Got a call a short while later telling me they picked up the car and it was only a toy gun but they did find other stuff in the car and the driver was drunk and thanked me for calling it in just incase

heard next year the age has gone up to 17 for L's. would that still be only 2yrs till they get their P's ? if so dont see how that would change anything. should keep it at 16 for L's. and postpone the P age limit to say 19-20. thats 3-4yrs of Learning behind the wheel. but just making them start later at 17 and get their P's by 19 its still only 2yrs or practice. wont change a thing, sure they might mature a bit, but practice is everything, god forbid but they might even have a minor accident while on their L's, that might be a Reality check on what might happen if they are speeding and going stupid. now accidents are inevitable, if its going to happen it will. now im not saying accidents are a good thing, so dont even think about blasting me, just a very good reality check if one was to happen to a learner driver
