Hi, With most cars you can get a list of what equipment was installed in the car at the factory from the original compliance plate. Magazines like Australian Muscle Car have been doing articles on it for the local products for some time. Is there any documentation on the web or elsewhere that I can download with that kind of information, specific to the R33 Skyline? I rang one Nissan dealer who was able to give me the main specifics (motor, trans, running gear, original paint) but i'd like to know if there is further info available. Thanks, Mike

Hi Everyone, Well I have finally found myself a nice , relatively unmolested ECR 33 GTS-T. The only mod done to the car has been to fit a 3" exhaust system, the rest of the car is completely stock as it left the factory back in 1997. So, next step, can someone recommend an insurance company? Currently i'm with RACV who won't insure the car, i've got a rating 2 and am 34 years old. I've called Shanons and the guy I spoke to said for relatively new high performance imports they aren't really competative (suggested at least $1800) and kindly mentioned I should try Unique Car Insurance and Torque Car Insurance. Any comments, suggestions or additions welcome! Thanks, Mike

Thanks for the tips. My first experience with a dealer was funny, as i mentioned elsewhere he was asking around $23,800 for what turns out to be a very average example compared to what i've seen turning up. Mike

Has to be Auto, yes. Price range, well lets say around $24'ish. Mike

I went to one dealer today and couldn't believe what he was asking when i saw the condition of it. Front spoiler had heaps of chips on it, scratches on paintwork, generally a very average paint job, gearshift material torn, rust on discs and well if it was being sold for $12,000 maybe, he wanted $23,800. Thanks for the tips, i'll check out the J-Spec site, although I would prefer to buy one locally, one i can go look at, test drive and so on. Mike

Hi Everyone, I've just started to get into Skylines and have decided I want one. The models i'm interested in are the R33 GTST although i'd prefer an R34 GTT and it must be an auto. Can someone recommend a trustworthy dealer I can buy one from? Alternativelty if someone here has one for private sale i'd be interested too. Thanks, Mike
