  10. don't know about this statement... i've got cusco pillow ball upper mounts - the mount can be disassembled and the spherical bearing can be removed for replacement/servicing. The spherical bearing is manufactured by NMB and a replacement should be readily available. This may/may not apply to Tiens, but i cant see why they'd go into all the trouble of making their own bearings when they are readily available from bearing manufacturers... Whether the Tein pillow ball mounts can be disassembled is another question - but i'd imagine they would be... cheers, rol
  11. anyone know if these will fit an r32 gt-r?? cheers!
  12. another happy customer here... called magic on tues, cat arrived today. bloody good compared to 'overnight express' that turns into a 5 day wait... thanks siksII, rol

  14. you'll find that the actual sensor is the same (titania, 3 wire, 12mm thread) - the only difference will be the connector type and cable length. Another 'compatible' sensor is the OTD2F-B2 which originally suits an R31. If all you're after is the sensor, you can cut/splice/solder into the existing loom...
  15. pm sent re o2 sensors
  16. yep, that's exactly what i was trying to describe. Under that fibreglass tubing there's pretty much nothing left... So not sure what to replace it with! Anyone know what this fusable link is rated at and where to find a replacement?? cheers
  17. Someone might have the know how to fix these themselves... voltage regulator inside alternator is stuffed. abs unit leaks like there's no tomorrow. Anyone interested before these are thrown out?? cheers
  18. Hi All, While mucking around in the engine bay I managed to create a short circuit and burnt out a fuse. Just wondering if anyone can tell me where the main 75A fuse should be?? The main 75A fuse location in the engine bay relay/fuse box is empty. There's a Y connection off the positive terminal of the battery - a portion of this started smoking and seems to have burnt out. could this have been the main fuse?? cheers
  19. anyone know if r32/r33/r34 rb20/rb25/rb26's use the same alternator??
  20. hrm... ok cheers for that. this car is becoming a real money pit!
  21. The car started doing this yesterday after a short trip. Initially I thought the gauge might be faulty, then i noticed the ABS light coming on when cruising (voltage >18V) then going out when idling (<18V). Drove around quite a bit today and started smelling battery acid. Got home, engine idling and popped the bonnet - discovered smoke and battery fluid coming out of the battery vents. Anyone experience anything like this before?? Not sure where to start. I'm thinking dodgy alternator?? cheers
