  1. trying to buy some headlight bulbs for the 32.... i know its deffinatly not a H1 or h4 bulb... its somewhere inbetween... can someone help me out, this bulb doesnt have any markings on it... could it be a H2C or something??? cheers pplz PS. didnt know which section to put this thread in, mods move it if you feel it necessary thanks
  2. AGREED, the initial controler had the hole (one of me mates has got one of the origional ones) and latley it looks like he doesnt dril the holes no more. and well said cubes, thats exactly what happens when no hole is drilled.... so drill a hole if you dont have one and reep the benifits

  6. yes it was exaggeration but its atleast a good 2 secconds b4 i started to see boost pressure again. neways i fixed the problem now, its all good now with the hole... can ppl please post up how much boost in PSI they are runnin with this controler just to get an idea of what pressures do what with the MBC
  7. cheers markimak. and how does "lag" or lack of boost for a good 5-10 secconds sound for the lag in my head??? hrmmmm as i said its only my resutls, as its aslo a s15 not a skyline... different motor turbo different everything. altho the pressure control system is all the same with a MBC

  10. markimak... thats a crock... i got PROOF not word off of somone that it lags like a bitch with no hole. buy one and put it in and tell me if its laggy or not... mind you put 12 pound thru it not 7... cuz your stocko wastegate opens at 7 and i doubt having that hold will make a shit of difference with the 7psi. well im runnign 14 pound neways... with NO hole = pathetic WITH hole = fantastic (altho it drops off pressure up top but im not complaining)

  12. how much boost are you all running?? im runnin 14 pound and it drops to about 12 up top... so if your running 12... maybe it doesnt drop off... dunno :S havent tried it. weekend job but deffinatly drill that hole lol
  13. hahahha well the 25 is in a s13 silvia... and std computer, std injectors.. standard everything except for GTR pump... lol i didnt believe it untill i seen the dyno read out... neways he is building another motor with gtr rods n pistions... neways he knows what he wants

  16. exactly as shown on page 68 where you can see the hole. is where i drilled it. just centre punch it and then drill it... just make shure you dont push too hard on the 1mm drill bit lol cuz it will snap. very small thing lol
  17. yes, drill the hole. cuz if you dont it keeps your wastegate open when you change gears and it lags like a mo-fo. so you need to drill the hole to let teh extra pressure in the line between the actuator and the BC out. my 1.1mm hole works just fine, so id say anything around that size would be good

  19. well all is well, its sweet as to drive boost hits hard much harder than factory settup. but the only downfall is that it looses boost up top. i have it set at 14 pound atm. and when it drops off up in the high revs it goes to 11-12 pound... so not too bad it still pulls. definatly an improvement!!!! next thing i will buy is an EBC but untill then im happy with this even tho i had to drill the hole my self... grrr....

  21. cheers man drilling it out on the weekend thanks alot im gonna start with .5mm then .75 then 1 then 1.25 then 1.5mm and see how each hole peforms thanks for that

  23. i was thinkin maybe like .5 or .4mm hole and maybe just starting really small and gradually getting bigger to fix it..
  24. ohok fair enough.. yeah i did lol changed it back last night lol im just gonna save my pennies for a blitz ID3 i think... i was kinda hoping this would do what it was claimed to do at teh start of the thread. altho it does hit boost harder. its no fun changing gears ill just have to mod it my self now... about the only way i see around it... lol
  25. ummz yeah i had a better think about that idea.. it wont work lol. but yeah umm with my restrictor removed, 3" and pod. she was hitting 14 pound up top.. 12 pound till 6000rpm. but on top of that now i have a greddy frount mount and a power fc. so it boosts to 14 pound straight away with the standard settup. but it wastegate creaps a bit. but just lookin at this controler now, it doesnt have that little bypass hole in it. so it doesnt relieve the wastegate from closing again and its really laggy between gear changes... hay he changed it and not drilled the hole in it???
