  1. Get me started on why I think voting should be optional and we’ll see how far it goes.

  4. Chicken feed?
  5. I think you’ll find it is rolled over as soon as it’s updated, which would be daily. When I’ve paid fines direct at transport I was issued suspensions letters then and there on the spot. Even if it takes a week to get the letter, the date from when it starts (in all my case's which is alot) has been dated from when payment took place.
  6. Porsche = 5x130 Skyline = 5x114.3 You can get ghetto hub spacers that convert the Porsche lugs into 5x114.3 for easier wheel choice and the opposite if you wanted to run a Porsche wheel or <insert possible other Euro wheel> on your 5x114.3 hub.
  7. It starts as soon as you have paid it, or made the first payment. You have the option of paying it off in installments, but as I said it starts from the first payment. There is no real way of “delaying” it until January 6. You can tick “take to court option”, then you’ll get a hearing mention date to attended and at that hearing mention date you will be given a trial date. This however could take as long as a piece of string. You may not get a hearing mention for weeks/months and then who knows for the trial date. You will end up wasting your own time and money from having days off from work. Worst case you get egg on your face for wasting the courts time when you could have just paid the ticket within the 28days and copped the suspension sweet as you were in fact doing 35kph over.

  17. Some random took it on a test drive and was driving.
  18. No idea Duncan. It was bought from Mitsubishi and was for sale at a non-car make dealership, the independent dealership hadn’t organized insurance for it. Information and photos from Garry Crick Auto Group who are the local Mitsubishi/Evo dealer for my area.
  19. Dealership car happened on a test drive in NSW. No insurance.
  20. You guys are completely missing the point with the conversion. They obviously did it to show case there custom fabrication and engineering skills as well as: a) Being different b) Creating hype over a 2jz 4wd GTR, full knowing it was going to be spread around the Internet. What better marketing ploy. Tough extremely powerful rb26’s have been done to death, how would this workshop be any different show casing there skills and abilities? The point of the conversion is show casing there ingenuity. Nothing more.
  21. Hey mate. As the original poster I have had very lengthy discussions with DOTARS in regard to this. Yes, you are right it can be done – However it would have be a very (and I mean very) extraordinary circumstances that they would allow me to import a race only import with no CAMS or ANDRA license at all. I would have to prove I have been in motor sport in the past, outlining what I have done when I did it, not just fluffed around in club days from forums and basically right an essay on its indented use where/what and how I would be transporting it, if I couldn’t convince them they said no go. I have held/have a Level 2 Speed (2S) licence and as long as I can prove and satisfy the criteria they would “consider it”. It was suggested I possibly look into importing a vehicle under the exhibition scheme for a private collection… However obviously DOTARS couldn’t confirm or deny much, however going to at least one race met would satisfy their criteria on “showing” the car. This is just from what I’ve been told from DOTARS. I’m sure it change’s every time someone calls.
  22. This sounds like the telecommunications thing going around. You sign people up to a new provider and get a kick back from each bill and for every new “employee” you bring in you get a finders fee and a small cut from each bill of the customers your friend brings in.
  23. You stole my shoes!
  24. Scared me
