  1. I vaguely remember reading about the GTR reo being a slightly different shape. Either way I just did them both, seeing yours is already cut I couldn’t see much point finding a GTR one just to chop up again. I just no for a fact you do not need GTR guards for a genuine GTR bar
  2. Probably no better or worse. I just wanted factory fitting holes. You could make adjustments on a Gtst rio easy enough. There is a complete DIY thread on here with photos explaining about all the in’s and outs with fitting a genuine GTR bar to a Gtst
  3. No you don’t. People just shouldn’t post unless they know for a fact. I have personally had a genuine GTR bar on two of my Gtst’s. Both cars used a GTR bumper rio.
  4. OMG it's TK yo been playah hatin nicca Give ya $10k squizz
  5. Far out, ridiculously quick time! Congrats Mark and Russ That STi is an awesome package, I can see Michael pulling out all stops for the next round to try and break the 42.72 however. Will make for some interesting racing
  6. Congrats! This car makes me weak at the knees, tidy best of both worlds package.
  7. Now see, that is what I needed to know. Thanks Shan.
  8. I made this post before contacting them. I didn’t think what they are stating was true, hence getting clarification on the matter before wasting my time, money and possibly even car. For the record two other “import performance shops/wreckers” are offering this service. Thanks Russ. Something I will look into with Dotars, as I may have enough documentation from a competitive class we were in for about 3 years.
  9. Phoenix Imports They posted it on nissansilvia
  10. I've seen 3 green colour ones, which were meant to be factory. I'd guess, if in fact they are factory they would be "rare"
  11. Can those who 100% know for sure, confirm or deny the above is true in regard to now importing a RACE ONLY import. According to an Australian importer a Circuit Racing/Level 3 CAMS license is now no longer needed? - Josh
  12. I own this shit
  13. Open pipe? Or must run cat and atleast one muffler?
  14. Guard rolling, just the inner lip not flaring? For example, are they going to raise question over a very minor appearance chance’s as one of the cars does look different next to another Gtst..
  15. What’s the ruling on dry carbon panels and 3mm lexan/plexi glass windows on the doors, rear quarters and rear window?
  16. I’m in involved in this thread as, like most I’m sick of the over zealous moderating from some moderators who continually single out some forum users, who abuse their powers and who break the rules. One set of rules for everyone. Not two or three. Sure I’ve been warned and pulled into line over the years, one warn was removed and the other (20%) sewid promised to remove it, which I have attached the PM’s as it hasn't been removed yet and I would like it looked into, as to why I still have it. As I said, I have no issue with you, or foresee any. But, my post was a simple opinion I had formed just after reading Paul’s post, two sides to every story I guess. Hello, I'm happy to see you PM me instead of continuing to degrade the thread. In regards to my user text that was set by Blitz and I have not changed it yet. It doesn't matter because it IS disrespectful to call a forum moderator a fan boi for just doing his job. The only action I initially took was to remove your post - I saw it as a troll post and I do not need the thread degenerating into an argument as lots of threads do. You chose to back that up with an openly disrespectful post against the forums, the forum moderators and this section. You received a warning for the latter. It is your choices that led you to receive a warning but I'm happy to remove it if you just simply stop posting in that thread. Regards, Kris Hi Kris, Thank you for replying. If you could remove the warning it would be much appreciated. I am happy to take no further part in that thread/meet all guidelines of SAU. Regards Josh Thanks for understanding. You gotta realise that being a moderator takes tonnes of time out of the day sometimes so it's why I probably get a bit trigger happy when I see a post I feel is off topic sometimes. I will remove the warning ASAP. Kris
  17. So, you act like a girl who’s in high school and completely ignore someone trying to smooth things over in the real world, for something that’s happened on the internet and move your car because you don’t want it parked next to his.. *Edit, better use of words.*
  18. Far out, sounds like it’s time for a serious consideration on Christian’s behalf to look into doing a complete moderation team rotation. New team, no bias, no grudges, no beef. It honestly sounds like these issues will not get any better and even perhaps worsen, with the attitudes and views the current moderating members have towards the non moderating members. I have no bad blood with Duncan and a lot of his posts have been helpful, but if what Paul is saying has and still is happening, Duncan is clearly not acting in accordance with the SAU guidelines point number one (1)
  19. Why did Ash remove my concern? I couldn’t voice my worry via the report to moderator link as his comment was removed from the original thread.
  20. I find it funny when some people on this site can disapprove of other people’s cars/motors, but if it were anyone else they would receive a warning. To the thread starter, any power gain is a power gain. So if it makes you more power I can’t see it as a downgrade. Plus the standard rb20/rb25 plenum and cross over pipe looks damn right ugly. If you have the money to buy the plenum and take full advantage of it by getting a tune, by all means go for it.
  21. Exactly. Everything in this thread has been in-relation to car(s) not driver/drivers
  22. Autosalon is such a typical “Drifters” reply. With my involvement in motor sport through friends, family and the odd event myself, I have never seen “alleged” racecars so poorly prepared. It’s like it’s a badge of honor to have a damaged car or something, the kids on secret drift all froth over it... I'll tell all the guys at the next Porsche car club meeting all their club cars must be factory backed or something as they don’t look shit. No argument Beau can slide the car; he seems to do pretty well. But his mentioned money, there lack of to finish the car maybe if it was prepared better he’d be picking up more sponsors on his driving merits.. When someone from DA came begging for some form of sponsorship (they wanted a free product) from my dad, the first thing we looked at was the cars presentation..
