They are very expensive car to fix and maintain and do use quite a bit of fuel. I had a few little mod’s done to mine, and stripped the trim out and I was beating stockish R32’s, S13’s from 110kph roll on, so hardly a performance fun machine.. We wont start on trying to stop one from decent speends on those silvia size brakes they come with either, I had no end of electric problems and running gear problems. I stopped counting at $11k in work I had to spend over almost 2 years ownership. $3k of that was on a gearbox reco as it let go. Fun cruiser and the 1uzfe sounds hot with a decent exhaust, but they are just getting too old with too many little problems that add up quick.

originally twin HKS gt 25/30’s, but the Brock shop blew one up, and I wasn’t able to get another 25/30 replacement cartridge, they told me I ended up with GT 25/35 cores.

Id say it was pulling a little bit, but the turbo’s were coming out of there efficiently range, so it wasn’t worth while going that far for something so little and putting that much stress on the motor. Really got up and moved hard 4000rpm – 8500/9000rpm

I was dead set scared it was going to throw something out, kinda like telling a kid not to touch the big red button you just gotta "try" an see if its worth it lol.

Up there every few weeks or so, above mentioned and not mentioned roads. Beats cutting laps.
