  1. ohoho Looks nice, I just sold the R32 *Sad Panda*
  2. Very nice conversion, may I ask what sort of money to build just the motor? (Pm if you like).. And why you went the JUN 2.7lt? And say not the Tomei 2.8lt? Or even HKS for that matter. I'm currently looking at the Tomei 2.8lt, but are still in heavy research mode until my gtst goes to free up money, so I would love to hear pro’s and con’s and everyone’s opinion.
  3. Yes. But if you and your mates are doing the conversion, you might as well have a crack at it, my buddy made 150rwhp on an auto ca18de S13 that he bolted up a turbo to.
  4. May I ask why you opted for that set up, and not a "real" box? Each to there own ect ect I know that, I've just always wondered why people go that option when they always receive bad reviews in Europe.
  5. Me personally, no. My father used to have a mint mild worked 67/68 coupe among other things
  6. True that. What a waste of a classic that is becoming quite rare. fnf3 can die
  7. Gordo, your a speedy race car driver though.
  8. Who is paul? More details
  9. To be honest, anything track related that’s not just playing around like your a nana. Events for dedicated road race cars, and some real club day racing would be of some major interest. Bring on real racing, we have some great club day racing in the Porsche car club; there is no reason why SAU-QLD can’t have something similar. Not every one owns street legal lapping cars nor has a desire to sit at a car park for an hour to talk crap Kthanks.
  10. I'd pay for memeber ship if you had private (closed) Drift days/half days at QR. Say like no more then 10 on the track at once, each group of 10 is sorted by skill.
  11. Wasn't it just a 911/930 made to look like a 993 GT3....
  12. Did you order one with a real gear box or the paddle shift?
  13. So much E love in here
  14. http://www.torrentportal.com/ Cannonball, Gumballs ect
  15. It's shy.. That and some one killed the gear box <_< It'll be out soon enough mahaha
  16. See sig. Kthanks
  17. Hmm it's all pretty dead except for Thursday night, which is normally emo's in their Mom's VT falcadore, and Magna's driving around anyway, and Sunday which is the lapping day, usually mid to late arvo, get a pretty good varity most times, more and more people from Brisbane seem to be coming up now as well. The Police are seriously low on their quota, so watch out for bullshit fines.
  18. He lost it all when he bought the crouch rocket
  19. You can't say someone is shit, if they’re not a pile of steaming hot poo. Clearly the person you think is shit would really be a human, and not the said pile of poo you may think they are. Thus due to the fact it could and maybe would affect there reputation outside of this Internet forum depending on who was to read the thread, and whether or not said people whom were reading the thread knew whom the person was. Obviously my example is pretty trivial, and would probably be laughed out of court, how ever I making a point, as I’m generally right.
  20. a reliable 400rwhp Rb25/Rb30 that doesn't feel like a diesel motor on the other hand $3k for head & head work. $1k for block, balanced, honed, nitrited. Forgies - Depends what type? from $1500 Rods - " " $2k I guess. ECU ? Tune ? Misc? Cooler? Piping? clutch? Thats $7500 alone just for the numbers I posted let alone adding in everthing else plus labour.
  21. Shut up, carby ca20 is teh win
  22. If your not spending ATLEAST $10k, your not getting a very good motor. Slapped together junk piles either don't last very long or drive like dog motors. Why any one would bother with a basic rb25/rb30 has me lost. We've blown $25k on an Rb25 (not my R32 motor) very easy and it still wasn't perfect, what bob the builder back yardmen you get quotes from amazes me.
  23. Correct Rb30 expert! To make it even worthwhile you’re spending big money to build it, and build it right. Other wise it’s just a basic, low revving diesel like motor, pretty damn boring IMHO. I wouldn't go Rb26, for the same amount you could have a pretty mean Rb25 that’s pretty rev happy. Each to their own.
  24. Is this topic serious? We cut springs in a VC Commodore, 3inch drop. Our paddock basher was pimp niggah. On a serious note, buy a VN.
