Oh yeh it accumulates up very quick. There is always cheaper options however, 2x rb20det AFM’s are meant to be a good conversion – But no personal experience. You can buy known good second hand injectors from known forum members, spend a few bux getting them sonic cleaned to insure they are perfect etc. Just a case of seeing what is forsale at the time for what price, then looking at what online traders offer and weigh up the price short fall. Online shops are kings – No over heads, smaller price. Barter hard. Taz is getting onto to some good industry suppliers now, so maybe have a chat with him as well. Best price win’s my sale is what I use.

Some crazy engineer guy on a Lexus forum I read flow tested most of the “high end jap” pods and Apexi came out pretty good – But that was about 2 years ago. Alas my preference is towards air boxes, obviously. Does that mammoth Japanese R31 specialist do anything like the ARC boxes? I can’t even remember their name?? R31House? R31Shop. Either way they’re cars make me quiver.

I’m not having a go at you Brandon; just the power you are talking isn’t cheap, but is easily attainable. 550cc injectors are just far too small; who ever told you that needs to step away from the product catalog. Refer back a few pages and read the conservative break down of power conversions. Basic rule of thumb is 550cc are good for 550hp at the fly on or near 100% duty cycle. I ran 1000cc's when I was only making 600rwhp, because I'm friggin anal.

Yes - 600cc's in theory could do the job, but close to max or max duty cylce sorta scare's me. From a safe leway point of view I'd be throwing in 800cc's and keeping the duty cycle down. I personaly would also be doing a proper twin fuel pump set up. One to left the fuel and one to send the fuel to the car. In saying this, you can get pretty dam good intank fuel pumps that are more than good enough as well, to keep it stock looking

I think he said 1.1bar, because it couldn't hold anything over that. If your a skirt 1.3 - 1.5bar. There are reports of N1 turbo's being used up to 1.7, however these could very well be for R34 N1 turbos, which are better then R32/R33 N1 turbos. I would suggest doing your own RnD, not take mine as gospel. For what it’s worth, when I had a half decent income I was searching high and low for an N1 R32 myself, so spent some time looking at what I could do with it, without basically bastardizing it

So you need to pick up an extra 45awkw? - Injectors Why? They're too small - Fuel pump Why? It doesn't flow enough and will need to be replaced for bigger injectors - Adustable cam gears Why? You need to make the most of the standard GTR camshafts, it's all about dialing them in! - More aggressive tune Why? Becuase tuners tune too conservative, thus no one breaks a motor but less power* - Find out why it’s not holding more boost Why? More boost more power - Your turbo’s are N1, not “stock”, they can handle more than the fart of air you are putting through them What air box are you using? Factory? What filter? You do not need pretty pod filters (see all the research on here) maybe look into a better filter panel if you still have the stock box. I am personally a fan of the Alloy ARC air boxes Anything over 300RWKW really needs at least a 3.5inch exhaust.. To be honest Skylines, including GTR’s are “cookie cutter” recipes when it comes to creating power. Follow the tried and tested path. *You might find with the above, you wont even need a super aggressive tune anyway

Any other idea's

Yeap, the more you supply the cheaper it is. I just wanted a sheet welded in with no centre rib (IIRC its only there for two reasons to hold in the roof light and to stop minor roof flex eg: if you lent on the roof in the centre). If you supplied the centre rib and hood lining and just welded in a plate, apposed to a full roof swap it'll only be around the $1k as well. You can buy the rib new from nissan. I'd also take the sunroof out myself as thats an extra few hours labour you can save. I've had mine out heaps, it's not a hard job. The shop is in Kenway Dr. Should be building number 6. There is always imports and all kinds of shit there. **the hood lining on my non sunroof R32's where only ever held in by the side pillar trims, no clips, no glue. There is no reason why a factory liner will not fit**
