RedStreakZ replied to JAMESW's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
James, Just to confirm ...the R33 copy that you have, do have slots on the underside for braking lights yes? and if so, do you know if a standard R33 spoiler braking light will fit in the braking light slot on the copy? -

James, could you check your pm mate. Cheers, -
There are no specific people that manufacture the fm expanders. If u looking for one, Jaycar sells them, or any good auto outlet. Shouldnt cost that much, around 30ish should give u a functional fm expander. Ant it isnt that hard to install either.

Nope, no noise during steering. When compliancing the tyres were replaced, so brand new tyres. I'll book it in for some wheel alignment and balancing just 2 check anyway. I've check the thread wear, and it seems pretty even, but u never know.

I heard dat Dandy Exhaust is pretty good and relatively cheap, but like R31 S'LineChik said, it depends on the quality of steel use and size.

Thing is, everywhere I go, I get told a different story ( ie...No this one isnt good enuff...this is better...etc...) I like 2 get some personal experience of the reliablity of the alarms people have used and the installer they used. Or, just general B*TCHING about certain brands etc... I dont want no fancy gizzmo, just something datz reliable and will give me peace of mind...
-
BTW, nice ride u got there ( however...*winkz*....U know wat they say...red drives faster...hahaha, j/k) I got 2 find the bottom lights 2 fit 2 my front bar.

I agree with Inark....just the cooling down. Pushead, there is a pdf (Sky is the Limit) one of the guys have written up, which give a brief intro into your new( well...new 4 u) Skyline. Do a search for the title, its quite helpful, will answer question u have, and question u dont know u have... If u cant find it here, go to forums.skylinesdownunder.com and also search there

Call me paranoid...call me sex god... ( just testing if u'r all awake...hehehe ) ..(after long silence)...Anywayzz,I'm in need of a good security alarm installer in Melbourne, preferrably in the South Eastern subs. I'm also in need of an alarm for the installer 2 install. So for all the security gurus ( and car thiefs out there), give me yur thoughts on wat alarms you guys ( n gals :uh-huh: ) recommend. I know the basics of wat is required, ie, 2 point immobiliser (minimum), black wiring, dual shock sensors, backup siren, auto/passive rearms ...but I NEED MORE!!!!!!!! e.g Brand names, pricing i should pay etc... Also, another thing i've learnt in my quest for higher wisdom in the area of security is datz it doesnt matter how hi tech the alarm is, its how good the installer is dat determine at the end of the day, how effective and reliable is the alarm. So any tips on wat i should keep my 2 eyeballs out 4...would b helpful.

OOOOoooo....U r DIRTY  ....nuts <----chestnuts? What time would u like 2 do it? Where is it...etc...

Thankz guys, will do. Just dat I had my tyres replace when I got it compliance. I thought that wheel alignment is 2 ensure that the car doesnt move to one side when u driving in a straight line...I sorta did a test on it ( ie driving in a straight line and seeing if it swerve to one side ). But I will get it rebalance to c if it will fix the problem. Anywayz, thankz 4 da inputs.

I dont know about u guys...but i thought it lookz coolz INASNT . I know I'll probably get mobbed for saying this, (and my comeback would be dat INASNT did it 2...thankz buddy :|o|: ) but i'm thinking of doing the same, but in red, with red covers, i saw something like dat in one of the forums and thought it looked pretty good. Only negative is...u shouldnt have painted the steering wheel cover....datz 2 much blue in one place.

Guyz, (n Galz ) First of all, hi 2 eveyone...I'm new to this forum...hopefull with get a chance 2 meet u guys on one of the cruise... I was wondering if any of you have had any problems with the car shaking at speeds of approximately 160 kms ? I took a car for a drive, and notice that at the speed the steering will and general frame shook quiet a bit. It is possible that the rims may be bent in some way ( no, I havent run int into any innocent by-lying kerb... ) or when they change the tyres they didnt balance it probably. The car doesnt shake that much when its doing 100-120 ish, but any higher...and it become quite noticeable. The rims are 17" and the car had been lowered in the front. ( oh..another possibility is dat the spring have been cut....hope not..:werd: ) Any experience with this prob would be helpful, and details of where/how I check if the rims been twisted. Thankz.
