  1. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...Search&f=23 Do a search using that as it would have been covered a lot before. Get your search to include the forced induction section as you will get a lot more info from threads in there. Cheers
  2. +1 for keypad alarm, my bro had that in his old STI, keys are useless without the pin. If I had to park mine outside/not in a garage I'd want the same thing. They don't even have their police station running because of that fire attack
  3. Even looked after engines can go, remember it is over 15 years old too. The rest of my engine was immaculate when it let go, except for what happened to 1 piston... When it was pulled apart everything else was fine
  4. +1 for tenagah I would engage in dubious acts with all of them. Ahem.
  5. A wreckers if you can find an undamaged one in the white the same condition as yours as it would save the cost & time of paint. And make sure your gf doesn't split up with you any time soon
  6. Bryce did you receive the email I sent you with the design??? Might have something to do with the reason above but just let me know if you got it or not
  7. Toes, nipples, not same. But then nipples would also be against the forum rules.... Damn teh governments

  9. Nah nothing like that man, Paul will just use protection next time.
  10. I just have mine in my sig for all youse guys
  11. They ask you about the previous few years when first getting the policy but not after that, nothing mentioned in the policy handbook anyway.
  12. Unlucky, thats about the only thing to say about it. Even though it's technically dangerous driving from them you're not meant to speed away from tailgaters.... When I have a 4wd up my ass I go slower (without braking)
  13. great thread will def read again
  14. The replies in this thread say to me that the SDRO stand little chance, but it's still just a f**k around for you. Good luck with it mate & keep us all updated
  15. Yes mum Yes we know we buy it because we have to, and yes we will continue to do that, but it won't stop people having opinions & sometimes with good reason. So if you want people to shut up & deal with it or start riding a bike around maybe you shouldn't read discussion forums?? But here in WA it doesn't help we don't have the competition of 4 98octane fuels. Don't know about other people but I only question it because at the same time, BP stations are generally always about 10c a litre more than the rest, including those next door to other servos. And it's usually only BP that without explanation or a decent reason put their prices up by 10c/20c the next day. Like yesterday the BP near my house was 102.9, today 119.9. Last time I checked the financial world was still f**ked up & not getting any better, and the price of oil was still very low but I'd guess they will say there is demand in China for fuel so that's why it went up. But then again it's not just them, they are all pricks for putting the price of petrol up asap when the price of oil goes up, but when it comes down you will see less than half of that drop come back down. That's a good reason prices today are where they are at: 99c per litre....oil goes up, 1.09 p/l...oil goes down....1.05 p/l....oil goes up, 1.13 p/l...oil goes down, 1.10 p/l...oil goes up, 1.22 p/l....etc etc That's why the price of petrol now is still considered normal, even though the price per barrel compared to pump prices from when it was 90c a litre to now is different by ~20c. Fuel. Buy it.
  16. Cheers for the pm Bryce, much appreciated. I'll definately be in for this one, I'll get started on the design I'm after & I'll pm or maybe email it through to you later on this week Nathan
  17. Entries for motorvation are done way more in advance than autosalon, so planning is usually around ~6 months before, so probably for next year I will get an EOI from sauwa members & if we have enough then there can be a club entry, I want to enter my car in it as well. As for this years event thinking back to that time last year there didn't seem to be too much interest, even for autosalon I expected more than what we got. Some people seem to think that there car isn't good enough or something like that, fair enough some need more but it's as a club, so showing off the range of cars is what it's about. If people are keen, they need to let everyone know!
  18. As much as so many people don't want to see it, they will. Just like me.
  19. Sounds similar to what's going on with my front left, I need new coilovers but haven't put aside the money for them yet, some days sound dodgier than others but only when it's bumpy. Took it to Brad & one of the guys had a look for me, the shocky was buggered & all the oil had leaked out from it, oh snap
  20. Someone rips it past both of you, but he pulls over the skyline with a loud exhaust. Good game officer, good game.
  21. By telling them you have an aftermarket comp you are screwing yourself over with them That won't work, you just have to have it plumbed back.
  22. Might be a cheap price, but if it happens to a couple after that multiply those prices together & see how they compare to a 25 box Also gotta think, you might want more than 230kw later down the track too. Not meaning to steal the thread but 3rd to 4th in my car grinds occasionally so I'm looking into options as well, might have to see if there are any gearbox guys out there that will offer something like that to me I see a gearbox like a replacement engine, you really don't know what sort of life it's had & it's would be a bit shit to buy it, install it & then find out it's just as bad as what you've just taken out....so I might look at a rebuild when the time comes, but I'm annoyed that my car still won't see the 1/4 mile for a while longer yet
  23. They do emissions testing over here now, I had to get that done for my car. Apparently I got in just in time because they were looking at making people do something called the IM240 test (i think thats what its called), which only 1 place in Perth can do, and the cost was in the region of a grand BUT...since then I haven't heard much about that happening to people so I'm not sure if that's what people are having to do or just if the DPI were looking into it, I just did the test that is done for compliance to the australian design rule (39 I think it refers to)
  24. Some cool pics in there, good work. lol at the ones of leo fixing up the cone, I liked it when he nearly hit the first cone after taking off
