  1. Sorry if I sound harsh, but cruises, especially such as these, late at night are NOT a good place to get driving experience. If not dangerous just to yourself, but to others that know what they are doing around someone who doesn't
  2. That was from when I was getting permits for my old car, unless they have changed it in the last couple of years that was from chasing regulations about everything. I had 8/9 inspections all up from one sticker, had the coilovers in for a few of them and some passed them (each inspector is different), others failed them straight away for that reason
  3. Can't quote from my phone but yep, what a load of shit! Engine bay - degrease it & tidy up what you can Seat - put a seat cover over it, "problem" solved Coilovers - about the only thing they got right, the ONLY way you can get permits is by having suspension you can't adjust. As in lower it so it's still legal, and then molest it with brackets etc so you can't change it. Much easier to just put stock suspension on for it Headlights - wtf? Guessing you have globes like mine that are on a lot of cars these days that have that effect, but still nowhere near as bright. I would have told him to eat a dick at this point Spoiler hole - fill it, cover it, whatever Tint - unless it's obviously legal, take it off. I don't think they actually test it when you go & just go off what they see, so any tint they may just fail. Go somewhere like tko to check it if you need to Stickers - lolololol, this is where I would have told him to keep on chugging. Stickers are only illegal if they impair vision I believe, and considering club stickers are usually small who knows what happens with the commodores with full rear windscreen UNIT/FOX/COMPLETE TOSSER stickers
  4. They are in the members section but a bit late putting these up in here, but finally some pics with a proper camera just after it was detailed. Was off road for the best part of a year getting rebuilt so needed some love
  5. Is the very bottom one the BF?? Can't really see a RB20 with that power lol
  6. Bit of a late reply, but it's really down to chance. There are some parts you just know would be dogdy & would avoid if you had the chance. Lived with my mum for over 10 years in Wanneroo, never had an issue. Live in Heathridge now, no issues but I've heard of a couple of houses in the street being broken into. Best mate lives in East Vic Park, had a car searched through (don't think there was much to take but alarm was dodgy so the car wasn't locked, they just had to open the door) but actually got broken into a few months back. Got all the small stuff, laptop ipod jewellery etc. My gf & her family have lived in Ballajura (dodgy part apparently) for like 20 years & haven't had an issue, next door has been raided by cops a couple of times & there has been some domestics. Like I said, chance! Also heard since Hepburn Ave has been extended, Hillarys crime rates have shot up, as they just have to use that road from the inland "dodgier" suburbs. And Hillarys is a very good suburb!
  7. The guy who started the thread?
  8. This chick, talking like she knows me
  9. Item is irrelevant, your mate needs to not be a shit bloke in the future
  10. Will be there, haven't had the rig out for a while for a cruise
  11. He would be the only one who could settle it, as mentioned he seems reputable enough but hopefully he can settle this himself!!
  12. Anything sent international should be sent with tracking numbers, I haven't sent anything overseas but everything I have had sent came with them. Mostly car parts too, so as a business they should be sending it traceable as well. Its not like it's costing them money, you would take that extra cost. And if you're like me, I'd believe you wouldn't mind paying an extra $30-50 or whatever for knowing just where a couple of grand worth of parts are
  13. This. I sold a car with money owing on it, I wrote out that there was money owing on it but would be cleared ASAP using the money taken for the car, and had me, the buyer & a witness sign it. I let the guy know when I payed out the loan, and 5 days or so later the encumbrance was removed. When I bought a car with money owing on it, the seller told me roughly how much it was, and when I agreed to buy it he called and got the exact amount. To pay for it I got 2 bank cheques (commonwealth), one stating the loan number of the finance company for the amount he told me, the rest totaling up to the price in his name. That way he couldn't just cash the full amount to himself (if a seller is going to get dodgy). It was the same as when I sold, a week or so after I collected the car when I did a revs check it showed nothing owing on it. I did have it written and signed for that the amount he said was true & it would be paid in full, best to be safe when it comes to money! This might not have much to do with your situation, but just putting this up in case anyone else needs to know
  14. From memory they record video something like 8 seconds before and after the light goes red They are speed & red light cameras, so will flash at any time the light is red or if people are speeding as they go through
  15. Will deliver for $250
  16. Sold but thanks for the attempted hi-jack
  17. Just had a vipec installed into my car, so the Haltech that came out is up for sale as I have no need for it. I will put some pics up of it all, but everything that came out of my 33 is there, also have the cables to connect to a laptop & a wiring diagram that's in the door with that. I know SFA about electronics/wiring etc, so if you have a technical question I might not be able to answer it! Ran 420rwhp with it Asking $750 for it, willing to post interstate at buyers expense. Cheap as for a full ecu, don't need it & not going to ask for too much, so grab a bargain Cheers, Nathan ps - pics & any more detail will be updated later, only picked up my car yesterday so need to look through the box properly
  18. Sorry to hear Dan we might have to load up my ute with all your parts by the sound of it
  19. Goran (3BEPKA) on Reid Hwy/Mitchell Fwy today, I was the guy in the ute coming onto Reid from Alexander Dv that you didn't want to merge with didn't risk yelling out during the Hepburn Ave bottleneck, that's the only bad thing about finishing early for a change, dealing with that shit!!!
  20. To see if it's the coilpacks just take them off the plugs one by one, if it drops a cylinder there's nothing wrong with them. If it's still misfiring it's more likely to be plugs
  21. Will be keen for this another time when, a)I finish work early enough to get there or it's on a weekend & b) I've got my car back & I'm not being a complete scrooge with anything to save money
  22. Bought 1 set of iridium or platinum once, lasted about 2 weeks. Copper ones have always lasted at least 5000ks, one set I had in for over 10,000 before one decided to finally die
  23. I asked if he knew you but he said he didn't (a lot of people), didn't even know you knew haha. Awaiting a vipec & tune from all star, new engine runs but getting rid of the Haltech Maybe...maybe not, trying to find a new daily while I've got the week off
  24. Need to go about changing my entrant ticket into a spectator ticket, but it will make me miss my car more even going to watch
  25. Sleep in the car?
