  1. Damn that sucks Matt, hope you're okay! As said it depends how much the wreck can be had for, and what you want to keep (if you do) & want to sell, and if you can get the money back for it. PS a mate of mine with an R32 would be interested in the R33 box if you do buy it back
  2. It's not just technology that hates you That sucks man, only thing I've broken is a screen for my phone that cost me $200 to get fixed
  3. ^ Lol good game, good game
  4. Don't spend money on paint for a shitter dammit
  5. ^ I've seen you patrollin, tryin to catch 'em ridin dirty. Is it a silver 32? Seen one around a couple of times lately (live in Wanneroo bronx too) with p-plates up, including outside of a panel shop I can't remember the name of but was in Wangara.....
  6. fucall
  7. And this will yet again will prove to be a useless effort to help improve basic skills....
  8. Pfft to transport, go the drive!! ps you should join the sauwa club while your here, I hear they like cars
  9. This story reminds me of the ad a couple of years ago for some sunglasses with Shumacher's head on it & the line "How would you like this guy to be your taxi driver?" Cops should be able to do fucall about it because apart from words, there is no evidence.
  10. Or blowing a kiss to them.....not that I've ever done that.
  11. Pannawonica (200ks south of Karratha) & about 50ks south of Fitzroy Crossing are 2 places that spring to mind Not any more though because I got back into my trade where soon I will be earning similar money anyway
  12. Last night at some lights I looked over at a guy in a Typhoon, and was stunned when I see him having a can of Jack Daniels Considering just after this he tried to race me I wanted to call his plates through, but like the cops would give a f**k......until something happens. ps didn't do anything for 2 reasons, firstly only running 6psi for engineering purposes next week, and secondly I didn't know how much he had been drinking.
  13. [offtopic] When I was waiting at the pits at Welshpool a couple of months ago there was a statesman with a few things that weren't able to be passed, including the exhaust. It was loud & maybe it was illegal, but I have heard louder. Few minutes later a red hot rod that was being inspected in the next lane gets started up & goes for it's drive then back again next to us. It was a hell of a lot louder than the statesman was, the inspector doing the hotrod & the one that did the statesman are both there to hear it, and this guy who seemed to have the engineering papers with him was told his car will be fine to be cleared the next morning (ie I heard this inspector say at about 8:30 to just come & see him & he will be brought through, not have to wait in line). Obviously the young guy with the statesman wasn't very happy considering they gave him shit for his exhaust when another older guy comes through in a restored car with a harley-spec exhaust & gets told nothing is out of place & to come in for coffee (basically, like). But yeah, no discrimination with age/jealousy at all [/offtopic]
  14. zomg I remember the Oasis drinks, they was ace they was
  15. What. f**k. The. I would imagine it to be as legal as driving without doors on the car. And in case you are serious that you don't leave your car at a workshop to be worked on, isn't the smartest idea to drive without a bonnet with all your wiring, spinning belts & fans & everything else exposed.
  16. Welcome to the club mate! Firstly, be thankful for a 6 week sticker because all I ever got was 3 weeks until I went to O'Connor. Guy there gave me a month but even that's not long enough because of how long it takes..... PM me & if I can help you out I will, but this will get you started: http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/saf...n/vsb_ncop.aspx That's what all mods must comply with now, I'm sure something in there will refer to cages, possibly under body modifcations. With the turbo & maybe other things you surely will have you will need to get an engineering certificate in regards to it's fitment & suitability. If anything can help you out, get that done to hand in with your application & you should be able to get it through sooner. So far I've applied...been rejected. (3 weeks) Applied again...accepted for pre-approval (4 weeks). Now I'm up to the engineering stage, but then when the papers are done & handed in, I wouldn't expect any sooner than 4 weeks, and due to the time of year it could even be like 6 or so if people are away on holidays/leave etc etc... Got this sticker about the 20th of August, I'm looking at about 5-6 months or so Inspector at O'Connor wasn't impressed saying "you've had over 3 months to get it done!!". "Well, only got pre-approval about a week or two ago so how am I meant to know what you guys want?"
  17. Already have a yellow I just thought they needed to ask first, like I said I didn't have a problem but just having him opening my door when I wasn't looking & doing what he wanted I didn't appreciate. It was more of the attitude I was getting as well that was pissing me off considering I actually didn't do anything illegal.
  18. wgmg is washing my car late one afternoon & having it all looking sweet. But then waking up the next morning & having it completely covered with dust All thanks to the new residential area being built behind my house that looks more like a mine site
  19. Nah he means the guy in the ghetto mirage or whatever it was that drove through the middle of everyone, then did a fully sick fwd power skid and handbrake turn as he was leaving. Yeah Jimmy I seen you as well but didn't know you were leaving from there
  20. Thought that was me for sec but it was a yellow stag, 4 or 5 of them out last night which was good to see. After everyone left carousel hung around for a bit with my mate in the yellow 32 & boosted 32, excel banging around the carpark with people hanging out of the doors & sitting in the boot Also got pulled over after I realised I was about to turn the wrong way so got out of the turning lane & went straight, cop car coming next to me just as I did this so put on the lights & came after me after traffic had gone. Not that I did anything wrong, was from a standing start, made sure no traffic coming & indicated etc etc, but not like that stopped one of the cops being a complete dickhead to me! Now a question, are cops allowed to look inside your car without your permission?? I never got out of the car & while I was trading smart arse comments with cop #2, the other one had come around to the passenger side & opened the door, and I had my bag on the floor that he picked up to look under, and looked at a couple of random things that were on the front seat (bits of paper, cruise map etc). I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to, and even though I would have let him if he asked, he didn't.
  21. Puncuate good yes???
  22. Sif need brakes Sorry to hear that Tom
  23. Started there a few weeks ago, maybe a month or so.
  24. Haven't used them before, but a mechanic that now works there worked at the workshop all the work on my car was done through, and I can vouch for his work
