  2. Got a booking at 12pm tomorrow at Midland. At the moment I'm really only going so the rego doesn't run out, I got the demand for car to be examined by the 13th last week, the same day I got my new rego sticker lol I'm just hoping I get an inspector who is actually decent & won't judge me on what I drive (the last one seemed very jealous of my car with my age), and I can actually get my questions answered properly! I might get a good extension, might get no extension, I don't know, but I'll be deciding where to go with it from there. Work has been insane & I've had no time to organise an engineer, but one I did manage to contact would do it but wouldn't be able to until the new year. If that's the case I'll probably have it until the sticker is up, possibly hand in the plates if I can't get it extended enough & re-register it with custom plates next year
  3. Yeah, or if your chasing permits you can wait a month to hear back if your application is accepted or not, then talk to an engineer who will tell you he is doing about 5-10 cars right now & won't be able to get to yours for a while. Then he can tell you once he's run the tests etc and that paperwork gets handed back to the DPI, it's another month or whatever to find out if that's accepted for final approval. /no lube Anyone got a gun? Will pay for death.
  4. Doesn't matter if it's stock or not mate, it's about getting out there & meeting new people & enjoying driving your car in a group like us, or possibly on a bike if I don't get the ok next week. Ps give you runs on my pushie?
  5. If I don't get my car through by next week I'm gonna cry like a little he-bitch
  6. If it is a chip then it's deffo bs....but a crack that can't be repaired (like 2.5cm or longer in front of the drivers seat) that can be given a defect notice
  7. Don't worry about it Lucy, you sold it for thousands & thousands for $30, so what if the poxy $30 will now just go to waste
  8. Sorry for feeding rumours of what is happening with mine, right now. Does "not, and never will be", apply to what the situation is right now then? Sorry for the confusion, as I thought the fact that last time I was at the pits I was talking to 4 people who had been to the Midland that morning & then told to go to Welshpool or O'Connor as they didn't have a booking. Yeah you could get lucky, or you could just be wasting your time.
  9. Welshpool & O'Connor are the only 2 open pits, all the rest are appointment only now so if it's for a yellow book it in to your closest one.
  10. Got boot?
  11. * Need a cat * 100mm minimum all-round * Plumb back the screamer into the exhaust * Make sure there is no fluid leaks from your car * If you don't have any permits & when they look at your car they think you should have, you will need to apply for permits & that can take a month. Meaning the yellow will stay, and because they can only give a 3 week extension, you will have to pay again for another re-inspection for a car that has already been passed, just so you can get another extension while you wait for the paperwork....
  12. You drive like a dickhead, so don't blame them for catching you. Ok bai
  13. I've got a housewarming party that night However.... will have to be a fashionable late entrance Might even see if I can get my kit painted & fitted the week before.....if I have my yellow sticker off....if I have my car.
  14. Well I think most of us have missed the point lol Pretty sure a quiet night with some cocktails won't involve freeway frogger or jagerbombs
  15. haha thats ace I just add the occasional shot/cocktail in with my drinking of spirits, seems to help me not vomit Well I do if I don't have shots......
  16. Yes it's true, I'm going through it now with a yellow sticker Thread on the main WA page (might not be on the first page anymore) but basically for any mods it has, you will need pre-approval for. Best bet is to apply in advance to taking it over, as it can take about a month before processing your application. Huge backlog, government workers, do the maths. Any height adjustable suspension will be turned down unless you modify to a way you can't adjust it any more when you have it at the lowest legal point, but why screw up a perfectly good set of suspension to do that when you can just put on a set of stockies. Aftermarket ecu's are no-go as well unless you want to spend big coin on emissions tests, and major mods like big turbos or brake changes etc need engineering approval. sux 2 b us
  17. Should have legged it.
  18. About 20kms off Broome is good. kk
  19. You should take a look at a Citroen C2. Just my suggestion, like.
  20. Awesome pics Jase That supra & GTR, omfgmogsdmosdg Oh, and apparently you also posted pics of some cars?
  21. If it has been registered at some point, that means it would have been complied. If so, then it will be on the database so if you have the chassis & engine numbers it shouldn't be a problem to find out when & where. To re-register it, it would have to be legal, which means if it's been neglected for a while you would probably have a lot of work to do to make sure of it (complete fluids change, complete vehicle inspection for roadworthiness, rust, leaks etc), but on the other hand you could probably get it for quite cheap & if it turns out to be better than expected you might get a better car than what you could buy somewhere else Good luck
  22. I've got stock brakes & diff too as well, no dramas at all. Do you mean 15k in regards to everything, because as I said my engine (block) cost me 7k? No but you probably enjoyed the bit of extra power to much lol
  23. Trust me, I'm practically a doctor. ps lambo gotz pwnzord!!!111!! lawl roflpottamus

    Car Loans

Got mine 11.25% with united credit union, variable rate so it's gone up a couple of times but I think it's still under 12%
  25. Well there is at least one I know of with 300rwkw, but he knows he can't hold 5th for too long Still been going strong for over a year at least though! My engine all up cost me just under 7k btw, it was just a bastard waiting because let's just say it wasn't a planned build lol
