  1. Yes syfon, we know the law is retarded, thank you for clarifying once more.
  2. Why the f**k not?? It's their job/s Yes I did get that reminder notice you mentioned, but that just made me keep expecting I would get the renewal letter in the mail!! If they can send out that, it can't be that much harder to send out something I can use to actually pay it instead of chasing it up. It looks as stupid as it sounds lol
  3. Yay, we can save so much money by not having to print stickers!!! Never mind that people can get into serious shit because our transport department are too incompetent to implement the new system efficiently, and to make it worse YOU have to do the chasing up whether it's calling them to organise payment or getting your car out of impound. When I bought my daily the renewal was coming up during the next month, recieved the vehicle transfer ok, but didn't get a renewal. Only knowing when the due date for renewal was made me able to ask my friend who works at the DOT who set up an account for me to pay just before I would have had to take it over the pits.
  4. Tyre fitting is relatively cheap anyway....any tyre place should be able to do it
  5. Goran the MX5 guys were on the left, we were on the right!
  6. Called my day off pretty early because my car started blowing smoke...then after shutting it down for a while it seemed fine Hopefully everyone else had a good day for the rest of it, signs weren't looking good at the start with them screwing up with the booking
  7. Can't believe if this has been stolen that they are still driving it around!! They have probably swapped the plates too, so it has to come down to the look of the car or hoping the police run the plates and/or pull the car over.... And as for saying this was an inside job from the people at the gym...don't be stupid!! Guaranteed this was a crime of opportunity
  8. Me driving this thinking it had to4 when it really had GT3076 = lolz What actual rwhp have you got with that turbo?? I was under the impression the GT30 series would make about the mid-400's before running out of puff, but I recall you saying it still had around 500. Just interested to know because once I get the 044 installed (only thing stopping the car running more boost) I don't know whether to stay with my GT3076 or get a GT35, not much point getting everything done & re-tuned for an extra 20hp lol Didn't realise you finally got another sticker, but remembered you saying when it did only then would it become full-on race car. Will be good to see this down at Barbs soon
  9. Can confirm I'll be in for this, wasn't the head gasket just a welch plug blown out Will be there to see if anything else wants to break
  10. Was that you with the light blue VL with the blown turbo??
  11. What sort of cost would you be looking at for a surge tank setup??
  12. I'm hoping to come across at least one photo of my car taken during the 7 laps or so I got out of the weekend
  13. Damn that's cheap for 595's, my favourite tyres I've bought so far were toyo t1r's, but at 350ea were a bit excessive lol
  14. Mint looking GTR!
  15. Matt I LOVED your old 33, was such an awesome looking car!! Is it still in the state or did it go back over east??
  16. This is hardly filling up quickly My spot can be taken by someone else if they want it when this goes public, not 100% sure my car will be fixed by the end of the month as I've got my work hack to get over the pits first. Powercruise claimed a victim with my head gasket
  17. Doesn't really have much to do with WA though, does it?
  18. Punch ons next time
  19. Keen. Will transfer money asap
  20. Bitches gonna bitch
  21. Wakey wakey
  22. Hey Zane The answer to most of those questions can be found here ---> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Co...-B-t191756.html As for the windscreen, it's best to call around to the common places & see who can give you the best price, see the yellow pages for that though Instant Windscreens & O'Briens is a good start
  23. Very well said Brendan, but as you can clearly tell it's just a few of them on here trying to seem smarter than each other (or everyone else) so they will probably just keep bitching on.
  24. We don't have red stickers over here, but they could just about give you the equivalent of one, give you 2 minutes to have the car off the road & put the yellow sticker sideways in the middle of the windscreen & probably take the number plates off the car from you
  25. ^ What he said My old 33 with a straight-thru was referred to as a zippo lighter...can't exactly come up with an excuse for a metre-long or whatever flame that could last for a few seconds
