I just got it from Repco, any sort of accessory shop like that would have it. Read the label & see what it says. It's 500ml I think, but it's a dull brown colour, it took me a while to find lol. However, I'm pretty sure mine was just a crack, so just see what the proffessional says, it could be better to wait. If it needs to be driven on Sunday just drive like a grandma & take it easy!!!

Call the number he posted, speak to him & ask if it was really him!!! Someone mong could have been caught for speeding/defected etc by a Officer Holland, and just wants to piss him off by doing this.

Not really sure about the rest, but my other car was very low on coolant, just after I had changed it, and the car was running hot. It was so bad on the way home from work I had to leave my car on the side of the freeway, came back the next day to find the passenger window smashed. Turned out to be the head gasket (not exactly sure what had happened), but all I did was change one hose that had a slight leak, and put a thing called Seal Up through the radiator system. It cost about $8, and stopped the leaking, and now it runs fine. This is more of a shortcut, as the problem is still there, but it is now just sealed. Anyway, if the coolant has gone "missing", then that would be the problem. Idon't see a rebuild happening if there has been no other engine damage, and you could just change the gasket or go the sealer. As for the car still being driven, it all depends on how the car actually runs, but something does need to be fixed no matter what. Good luck.

Ah yes, the famous Mr Fisher, he looks like he certainly eats the pork sword. Brendan, when did you change your name to Chad Fletcher???

THey did a IP check and it came up with a police thing, and he gives his title & phone number, so if there is any doubts anyone could call & ask to make sure he did post it.

Why is I agree with most of your opinions??? Great minds think alike, or something like that. I couldn't agree more with the last comment. My uncle is a cop in Qld, I have been meaning to talk to him about the general opinion of their views, just haven't got around to it. IMO if you have done something wrong you deserve the hassle, but "random" vehicle checks that usually end up with a yellow are the things that piss me off the most. Although I am a defect virgin, it is bound to happen.

I keep my keys in my room as well, in my cap with my wallet & watch. Just get a bit paranoid by how easy it is for people to look into windows, and once the way theives (pricks) steal cars leant towards stealing the keys, I always kept my personal stuff near me. I also keep half of a broken pool cue next to my bed, never know when you have to break out with some vigilante stylez.................. off topic, but Topaz do you have a 32 or 33?? I seen a nice black 33 with a stealth spoiler & fmic at the shops in Bentley (or near the tafe & uni anyway), your avatar looks pretty much the same. I also noticed an unmarked cop car come in behind it, turned out to be 2 ladies of the law on a lunch break.

I don't know about competing yet but if I do manage to make it down and anyone needs a hand with anything I can help out.

I would imagine they would be chipped at least. The governments when getting these cars probably have a deal with the makers for cop cars, and would be fitted from the factory with these upgrades. That makes sense to me. I can't see a standard 6cyl commondore keeping up with a stolen GTR (or something single turbo for that matter)on a freeway run.

New Forum Skin Problem..
ossie_21 replied to D-G's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
It's just those 2 at the moment, and I don't have any problems. Try changing your screen settings??????? I have no clue though lol. -
I changed the skin & is a lot better on the eyes, still be hard to get used to IMO. Anyone know what the deal is with the thing under your username??? Just about everyone has something like RB25DE (gimme a t damn it!), and at the moment the only one different is Pie's. I can't find how to change it, and I think the switch has lost a few areas too, wheres the WA Members section????
-
Sorry to hear that Ben, do you think they broke in for the keys or you just forgot to remove them???
-
When & where is this??? I have never been because it is primarily a V8/Aussie sort of thing, though I have heard imports are getting more inclusion. If there will be a few other imports there I will think about it, what's the deal?? You enter stuff, just show your car etc etc........... When I know when it is I can decide whether or not my car is pimped enough. Let's say 10 people from this thread enter, would it be having them together? Sorry about all these questions lol

I certainly hope so, especially in a few years! I want to move there after my apprenticeship is finished, and would love to have a 'line over there. Been looking for info & approximate prices, that sort of thing, harder than I thought to find out but. Back on topic, that guy would be spewing. I'll give him 50c for the front mount. -
Happy Birthday Liz, hope you have a great night on Friday! :lock: :Pimp2:

Hope this is the appropriate forum, but these are the rims that came with my car when I imported from Japan, but I don't know the name/model number of them, so I can't find much info on them. They are 17in Rays Engineering/Volk Racing rims, although I have measured them & it came up 18in, so maybe they are bigger. Anyway, they look the shit. The thing is my car was assessed, and I guess they took the chance to make sure my mods were on the policy etc etc. Not knowing how much they were worth, I asked for the compliance workshops opinion, and was told probably $300-$400 per rim. So I got them insured for $1500 on replacement when I took my policy out, and didn't think anything of it.........until yesterday. The insurance company called me & said that the actual replacement value of said rims are $3600 (bling effing bling), which is way more than I expected. A pleasant suprise anyway! Because the policy is still for the best part of a year they said because they are on the policy for $1500, that's what they will cover in the event of a claim. If you do know the details & could let me know, that would be helpful. Cheers.

FS: set of tyres. and $150 for slightly damaged set of 17" rims

Out of curiosity, who can repair rims in Perth????? That scratched one looks pretty bad though. -
I did a search but didn't get much love from it, so here goes. I am looking at getting a fmic kit asap, and I am just looking at as many opinions as possible. Just wondering what sort of kit or cooler you have, how much it cost & how it performs in your car. I have seen the Hybrid kind are good for some but not for others, but judging from what shows up in the group buys these are pretty common. One concern is whether it is a copy or genuine. One place in Sydney claim to be the only official supplier of Hybrid, but I'm just not sure if they could prove it!! Or if you have a jap brand fmic (greddy, HKS, Blitz etc) & would recommend that, tell me why! I would prefer to be able to fit it myself with minimum fuss, and I'm not completely sure of my budget yet. By this I mean if a kit I can get for $700 that would do pretty much the same as one for $1400 I would go the cheaper one. I am going to be modifying my car a lot more too, so this needs to be taken into account. If someone could direct me to a thread I might have missed or can give some advice, it will be much appreciated.

Use my one, you should get it first try.

Congratulations Scott & Anna!! Hope everything goes well for you both, good luck.

Have to agree with the others, if you had enough time to brake, or do as you did & check your blind spot, you had enough time to indicate. Try your best as far as you want to go, but I don't fancy your chances. They will also take into account the fact you already have a decent amount of points against you. Let us know what happens anyway, good luck with it.
