  1. Thats really helpful mate, thanks for the heads up :bahaha:
  2. I'm already there also.
  3. I have only, do only and will only ever, use Mobil Synergy 8000. Sure it gets a little pricey sometimes but someone once told me that was the one to use for my Skyline. And when he talks Liners, I listen. I think it all comes down to preference tho. I'm not sure there is a "perfect" fuel to use.
  4. Sunday is a better option if we want decent turnout numbers man. But if you committee guys wanna have a private one then it'd be easier to get a communal agreement on a day during the week. At the moment, at James' initiation, there are regular Wednesday meet ups at a bar somewhere, eg, the Keg this week. For chat purposes these are great. I dunno what the consensus is but I think the 7:30 Wed meet up works nicely.
  5. Well, there's interest now Monk. Someone gimme a job!!!:burnout:
  6. Give him time guys. I'm sure Jim will get the details up asap. We just juggled some ideas so nothing was carved in stone.
  7. There are 3 sizes, Small, Med, Large. I had to get the large one because as you know, the 33 ain't small. The large fitted over every skerrick of paintwork. It covered everything inc the 400R front all the way to over the exhaust pipes, skirts, the lot. It did have some excess but that was cool.
  8. I used to have a kick arse cover for mine. Got it from Autobarn. The product is called "Tyvek" by a company called Kenco. It lets moisture out but not in. So the car can be rained on when its wearing its pyjamas and the duco will not get wet. It looks like a giant fitted bed sheet with elastic all the way round and has a belly strap to keep it on. You have to make sure it goeson the right way so it will work properly. Was a damn good cover. Then some Flogg Nutz ganked the cover right off the car one night. So I just started putting the car in the garage.
  9. Damn, you beat me to it James. I started a new thread on this but left you to fill in the details.
  10. Well guys, I'd just like to say that the small turn out last nite has resulted in the club's direction being decided by 4 guys at a table in a bar. hahahahah James will most likely be posting the ideas we had but I can say that we had a few great ones about solid membership, cruises and events. Stay tuned.
  11. Yeah, its true. I have been suffering from an irritating lack of action lately.
  12. Hey bro, I say turn up whenever you feel like it. I didn't mean to hi-jack the deal I just wanted to turn up at 7:30. 8:00pm it is then hehe See y'all there.
  13. Welcome aboard man. Go with the flow and you can't go wrong.
  14. All I can see is a set of headlights. That photo is way dark.
  15. You're burning me dude!!! 8:30? As weak as it sounds that is getting a little late for me. I'm gonna be there at 7:30 anyway. HAHAHAHAHA. Who's with me for the early shift?
  16. Well, it finally happened!!! Dark has, at last, told his “Juliet” how he feels about her. I think we’ve all been privy to his musings and angst ridden deliberation over what to do about this princess named Michelle. Many of us have offered counsel and tried to give him the benefit of our wisdom. I for one have been particularly anxious to see him subjugate his nerves and bite the bullet. So much so that I’ve often become quite vociferous in my urgings. However I am pleased to announce that I received a PM on Monday heralding the dawn of a new age. Dark informed me that he had, in fact, strode up to his beloved and despite at least 10 others in her presence, proclaimed his feelings for her. This courageous action was met with applause and cheers of respect and approval from his fellows and special gratitude from its intended recipient. I would therefore like to dedicate this thread to both Dark and Michelle (if she’s reading) and convey my congratulations to the young man. Lets hope that Michelle will eventually feel ready to fully reciprocate and share Dark’s feelings and that they will hook up officially. At that time I have offered to blast down to where ever he lives, swoop up him and his lady before heading to my joint for many a vodka with me and any other of the SAU inner circle crew that wanna have a few. I’ll need a co-pilot though as I’ve never been to where ever it is that Dark actually lives. Who’s down? :rave:
  17. Yeah, with over 7k worth of posts Dark must have signed up when he was 12 :bahaha:
  18. Don't have a most memorable moment but I love it everytime MCCR or one of its members does something stupid and ppl get on here and dump all over them. I know its likely to breed bad blood between the clubs but its just so funny. Like the time someone mentioned Ambz on the MCCR forum and she cracked it in a major way. The tirade of abuse which issued forth from her keyboard was truly aweinspiring. Damn I love this club!!! :aroused: :cuddle:
  19. I joined back in July 2002 under the name Wardest Mac. I subsequently forgot my password after a short while and thus had to sign up again in September 2002 as Schmeddo. This didn’t last long before I forgot my password again. I registered as my current moniker, “Wardest” in January 2003. This third incarnation is the only personality which owns a Skyline and has thus been able to push the other two into my subconscious. Should they ever re-emerge tho, I’ll be in big trouble.
  20. Hey James, What about the video i took of you and Impul? Did that turn out ok or did I screw the pooch with the camera work?
  21. I hope whoever will be taking the photos has an extra wide angle lens. By my guess where gonna get a better turnout than the Ocean Rd drive day. But, the more the merrier I say plus it gets the club name out there.
  22. Really? So does mine. We must have the same paint job. Mine was the one with the 400R kit. Dunno if you saw it.
  23. I guess one can only be interested in what fires one's obsession and what you have exposure to.
  24. Haha, thats pretty funny. I've lived in Melbourne for all of my 26 years and not once have I been to Thomastown, Lalor,Epping or Mill Park. Like I said, I have no idea where any of them even are. But yeah, I had no idea about anything to do with VLs. too young I spose I caught the car bug from an Alpina C2 BMW. Then when I discovered Skylines that was it for me. There were suddenly no other cars which interested me. Except perhaps the Supra.
  25. I guess so, Were they part of the "Other Team"? You know when they talk of Touring car racing of early last decade they use the phrase, "There were the Skylines and then there was everyone else"
